Room was nice. Only three things that frustrated me, first was parking was 5 minutes down the road. Second was on my 3rd day I got back to my room at 3pm and had to ask for the room to be serviced and the representative at reception was trying to tell me the house keeping had finished but when I asked why it hadn’t been done he couldn’t give me a straight answer……. then miraculously house keeping showed up 15 minutes later and did a very quick service. And the final thing is that I had to check out at 3.45am and was told the day before that don’t worry the reception is 24 hours however upon trying to check out there was a sign saying I am away helping another guest please call this number and when I did call the number someone who was clearly just asleep answered and said to just leave the room key at reception…… not great customer service.

NICE ROOM, STANDARD BUSINESS HOTEL Just in town for a one night stop before catching an international flight the next day, I chose this hotel for its location. I took the train from the airport (just $3.50, the only city without an airport fee!) and then the free yellow CAT bus took me two stops to the hotel. Very convenient! The room was on the seventh floor facing the street and it was quiet. However, the blockout blinds didn’t quite do their job, as there was consistent lighting from the buildings across the road leaking in around the edges. The room was spacious but, as there was only one luggage rack, I had to use the sofa for my clamshell suitcase. There was a work desk, TV (with a slightly confusing interface), kettle & Nespresso machine with a small milk in the fridge plus a minibar selection. The bed was fine but the pillows were a bit random and lumpy. I used my own travel pillow. The real winner was the bathroom: a rain-shower with decent pressure and nice bulk toiletries & towels. There’s good counter space and a pretty good hairdryer. All in all, an average stay at an average business hotel.

Love the location of this hotel, so close to a lot of good restaurants and an 8 minute walk to Coles. Room was nice and a decent size (we had the executive room). Bathroom was spacious and clean. The only let down was the buffet breakfast. Certain foods weren’t cooked right through - the mushrooms were still raw and the hash browns. It was specifically the morning of New Years and the next morning after that, I felt the breakfast was not done to an appropriate standard. All in all a great stay and would come back again but would not pay for buffet breakfast. Staff were lovely.

Stayed there only a week ago. Day of checkout we accidentally left our kindle on the night stand we called the same to day check and ask to come and retrieve it. We were told nothing was left in the room as the cleaners didn’t report anything. We are 100% sure it was left on the night stand and told them that, but were again told nothing was left. So I reported my kindle as Lost/ Stolen, so it could no longer be accessed, since then someone has tried to login to my Amazon account 5 times with codes being sent to me as the only was to unlock the kindle is through my Amazon account. Disappointing that such a well known hotel would have staff unwilling to help and also steal property, and then even when locked out not return it.
