We enjoyed our stay at Strahan Village. We had a lovely room overlooking the water. The room was clean and had what we needed for our short stay. Staff were friendly. We would have ranked higher however there smelt like there were plumbing issues which needs attending to on the way to the room.

Upon check in we upgraded to a king and the guy didn't know how to change that in the system w/out us having to cancel through hotels.com. Fortunately, his colleague was able to help. We were offered a 20% discount off of the hotel restaurant View 42, but when we tried to take advantage of it, no one knew what we were talking about. Hotel room very comfortable. Needs ice machines on each floor. View spectacular.

It seems that these properties are all part of the same organisation. A little tired, could definitely do with a paint. The in-house facilities were a bit hit and miss, providing some mugs and plates but no bowls or spoons. Could do better.

The room was nice, the view was amazing. The reason for my low star review was that I was locked out of the internet because I exceeded my log ins. I was not told there was a specific number of log ins available and I didn't log in that many times. I was using 3 different devices but never had more than 1 logged in at any one time. The fact there was a limit was bad, the fact I was not told about a limit at check it was horrible. I woke up at 6am to get some work done prior to our day of fun and I could not do anything. VERY BAD SYSTEM

The room was clean, and served our purposes. The bathroom was old and the shower was very temperamental hot one minute freezing the next. The room was serviced in our stay which was nice. No cooking or heating facilities. Only tea coffee. We were disappointed with the tv. It wasn’t smart. We were also disappointed with the internet service. We were trying to watch the football on our own device but the internet cut out. On a bright note, the position was excellent. Easy access to shops and boat harbour. The view from our window was beautiful.

Convenient location - short stroll to the cruise terminal, cafes & restaurants and within walking distance of Hogarth Falls. Our room was clean, well-appointed and cosy, but needed better lighting. Having spent two days walking at Cradle Mountain it was nice to rest our weary legs in the spa bath. The room had a great view of the boats on the harbour and buildlings along the waterfront. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The onsite laundry was very useful, but be prepared for a small queue.
