Everthink was excellent

Loved the quiet, well appointed room. Food at the You bar was excellent and very friendly staff. Plan on staying there again!

Fantastic hotel, amazingly friendly and attentive staff. No problem was too much for them. We were lucky to have one of the 8th floor rooms with the skyline view over the city. Room was very modern, bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of powerpoints, in the right locations, as we have cpap machines and these need to be close to the bed or they become a night time trip hazard. Concierge team were exceptional, especially Rolly, whose suggestions for dining or transport were spot on. Really central location for the Opera, the Spanish Riding School and the Musikverein. Breakfast was good and plenty of it, bar staff were knowledgeable about the local drinks. This is definitely where we will stay on any return trip to Vienna

Breakfast was good but the plates forks glasses coffee cups were not clean enough everything smelled like eggs and the coffee cups had spots of coffee inside the cups not in all of them but in some a pickup were like that

The room was spacious and clean, the bathrooms were outdated and not so clean. Sink was way too big for the space, and the counter space was very small!

Liked the excellent location near the Opera House and other major attractions. The large room with two beds is also a positive point. The staff helpful, and attentive. The negative points are three : the bad illumination at the elevators and the hall in front of them. Its too dark. One cannot forget that this is a classy hotel and not a suspicious night club. The breakfast at the week end was poor mainly with few choices of fresh fruits. Disgusting was when at the check out the porter called a taxi for the airport and the price was much above the normal fare. Despite asked the driver didn't use the meter. Porter scam with taxi drivers ???

Loved and enjoyed every aspect of our stay at La Meriden Wien. Perfect location, excellent service, and room was clean, spacious and luxurious. It exceeded my expectations. We highly recommend it, and will definitely stay here again.

Staff were helpful and room was clean and neat. Hotel has great location very close to Opera and U and transit stations.

We stayed at Le Méridien for three nights to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday, having booked a superior city-view room five months in advance. As it was a special occasion, the hotel kindly gave us what they described as the best room in the category we had reserved, but unfortunately we found it rather disappointing. Although the room was likely the advertised 30 square metres, a large portion of the space was taken up by an oversized bathroom, which made the bedroom area feel much smaller than expected. The city view was pleasant enough (through windows in need of cleaning), but nowhere near as impressive as the photos suggested. The furnishings and overall finish also felt somewhat cheap and below the standard you would normally expect from a five-star hotel—something we had previously experienced at a Marriott Convoy in New York City. The exterior of the hotel suggests traditional architecture, but our room was in a modern part in the back with low ceilings, contrary to what we expected based on the photos of the hotel. The hotel also offered complimentary drinks on days when housekeeping was declined. We chose to make use of this, only to discover that the offer applied to a very limited drinks menu, meaning we still had to pay for what we ordered. That said, the location is excellent, and the staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, however, we felt the experience did not justify a return visit.

Excellent location and great service

My check-in was not great since for some reason I had a very small room with a queen bed and in the second floor where we had to go up about ten steps...I had stayed in a larger (although not great room) a week earlier and had even requested a paid upgrade for the last few days of my trip.

Wonderful hotel perfectly situated. Beautiful rooms and excellent service.

Location is perfect, just outside the heart of city center in so you can have all the accessibility without the congestions. Friendly staff, solid buffet and friendly staff.
