The property was great!! Close proximity to Bridgetown and more!! I love the fact that you were directly on the beach and didn’t have to walk too far for anything. Great friendly staff! My room shower did have fluctuating water temps at times. But not too bad where you can’t take an amazing warm shower. Overall quiet and safe area!!! Got to meet some great potential future friends!!

We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Court Hotel in Barbados. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome. They greeted us with refreshing rum punches and were consistently warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Whether we had questions or needed help arranging anything, they were always happy to assist.
The rooms were beautiful and very clean, with housekeeping stopping by daily to keep everything in perfect shape. The property itself is charming, with a lovely pool and a beachside bar that’s perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand.
One thing to note: if you’re planning to enjoy the beach on the property, June might not be the best time, as there was quite a bit of seaweed during our stay. We ended up heading over to Brown’s Beach and Carlisle Bay for better swimming conditions, and both were fantastic alternatives.
The hotel also has its own restaurants, and one highlight was the Monday happy hour where guests can meet the owners over rum punch—a nice personal touch that made us feel even more at home.
All in all, we truly enjoyed our time at Coconut Court and would absolutely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and relaxing stay in Barbados.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Margot, the receptionist made us feel at home. She answered all questions without hesitation and was extremely courteous. The hotel grounds were always kept very clean. We had one issue upon arrival, which was immediately rectified by the on duty manager Jeff. He upgraded our room as well as gifted us a bottle of champagne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The beach side of the hotel was beautiful and staff was great. The side facing the street of this property was not nice and it was very noisy. The area also felt unsafe as we came across a few people with mental health issues yelling and moving aggressively towards others in the street. Felt more like a motel than hotel.

Very nice family run hotel right on the beach. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. It was our anniversary and they had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have a balcony overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel has no elevators! And 28 steps down and up each time to the pool. Needs to be more handicap accessible. Otherwise the staff, owner, and hotel was very friendly and nice.

Coconut court is amazing. Let me say that. This is a very authentic experience. It’s clean, the air on blows cold, the showers are hot and the view from the rooms ( not the apartments, do t book the apartment )are wonderful. Whenever I am in Barbados I am here. No question. Is it a big respite style hotel with luxury’s everywhere? No. Is it a quiet place to sit by the ocean and relax? Absolutely. I have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. It’s not the four seasons, but you will love it.

We had the strangest encounter while staying here. We were traveling with our baby. We went to a rum punch party where it was open bar. I had my baby in the carrier and was only going to have one drink. It was 7 pm and my baby was sleeping for the night. The lady was refusing to serve me saying it was bad for my baby. We went back and forth multiple times. Finally she gave me a glass half empty and I walked away. Pretty sure she did black magic on us. We had horrible luck the rest of the trip. My baby woke up the next day with a fever, any time we stepped outside it would rain etc. Our last day there the same lady that we hadn’t seen since, was half hiding behind a table and stared at us with a straight face and said “how are you” as if she knew we weren’t having the best time. I normally don’t believe in stuff like that but it was very very strange and off putting.
Her actions and attitude made us never want to go back. Employees shouldn’t be forcing their opinions on guests. I’m allowed to safely have one drink and also had milk back in the room for him. Quite frankly it’s none of her business.
