The rooms I had (full size) were compact but practical. I can’t speak to what the other rooms were like but the room was great for me and one other to sleep and lounge in since we spent most time out in the city, just don’t count on space to jump around or anything. The staff was AMAZING and accommodating during the historic heatwave. I was originally put on the top floor and the A/C was struggling to do anything above the 2nd or 3rd floor beyond keeping it from absolutely roasting everyone. The elevator was out and while they count four floors it was closer to 8 floors since each floor had to levels. First night was difficult because it was so hot and humid even with the A/C going full power, so I asked the front desk if there was anything they might be done since I have health issues and couldn’t utilize the medical equipment I need to sleep due to the heat. They worked it out that they would move me to a lower floor and the rest of the stay was lovely. WiFi was sufficient for streaming but nothing heavy duty.

Really nice hotel located right in the city centre. You can walk to the city square and have multiple options to dine and wine. The room had better than average space and looked recently renovated. The only warning is the Tub/shower has no privacy, it’s an open plan to the room. Traveling with a teen we needed to take turns to shower while the rest of the family had breakfast. Not a dealbreaker but was a bit odd. Otherwise great stay.

The location is extremely convenient, everything is within 10 minutes walk. It can be a bit noise at night as bars are located in the same streer, but is well insulated, noise doesn't get it much.

The room was great, very good sound proofing. We were on the third floor and didn’t know there was a huge world cup party happing on the street. Only two issues was the elevator didn’t work during our stay, but the staff helped carry our luggage. The other was no hot water for the last day of our stay.

While we did experience a couple of minor issues upon arrival, the hotel staff was excellent about addressing our concerns. Their customer service was exceptional.

The room was nice but the elevator was broken, our TV didn’t work, and the hotel hosted a soccer party that lasted till 4am. The parking available to reserve is a 10 min walk through a rough neighborhood. I would look at other parking options if needed.

This could have been a brilliant hotel, but there were a lot of niggly issues. Our hot water wasn't working to start with, a/c never worked. Breakfast was badly organised and the staff member in charge spent more time outside talking to the bin men and smoking than dealing with guests. We had to ask for things all the time, like spoons, bowls, milk etc. At one point we were told that there were no small spoons available! The bath was a health and safety issue: when the shower was on, there was no way to stop the water coming out of the tap, which was on the side of the bath rather than the end, so the hot water was coming out on our feet. To be fair, the room itself was lovely, if too hot as we were on the top floor with just skylights. It's in a great location close to the city centre. The issues we had were relatively minor and didn't really detract much from our enjoyment of the holiday.

This is a hotel for young people who want to party till the wee hours of the morning. While the area has a good choice of restaurants, it has a lot of patios and is very noisy. The area around the hotel is very crowded and not very clean. The hotel itself is quite old and could use a refresh.

The room was large and clean but in need of some attention. Many lightbulbs not working, bathroom hairdryer handle held together with tape, safe not working. The towels provided on entry were threadbare and had holes in them. On check I had to wait as the manager inspected my room and was not happy, I was given an alternative room. The key worked but when I started to enter the room the lady in bed shouted out.

The room was cute but too small for us!! Cigarette smoke came through the bathroom vent. Better fit for 2 people than a family of four. Location is great it’s 5 min walk to the grand palace and variety of restaurants! Also the hotel is attached to a restaurant which made it convenient.

Hotel was well located - close to metro stations restaurants and some tourist sites. Comfortable with a decent breakfast (eggs, cheese, salmon, coffee, croissants, and bread, yogurt, nuts). Staff nice and helpful. I think it was a bit overpriced. My room was smelling cigarette, unfortunately.

The checkin instructions identified there was no front desk, however there is. Once you walk to the back of the bar to the right you’ll find a hallway with a receptionist there. The hotel is a great location very walkable to shops. Felt safe even with the party outside till 4am. Loud music plays all night with about 1 hour of quiet until they start cleaning up and recycling glass. The room only works when your key is inserted which meant this rooms refrigerator didn’t stay on or cool nor did the AC stay on while we were out. We were there during the first heat wave of May too. I had asked the front desk to checkout at noon, and then the housekeeping knocked at 11:10 while rinsing off. With the language barrier tried to clarify we checked out at noon, and then another knock on the door moments later by receptionist asking what we said to the house keeper… felt confrontational and the only poor experience we had. Brussels was our favorite stop on our trip. Great place. Would recommend the hotel if you are good with late night partying or can sleep through anything. Breakfast was pretty good too, and they will hold your bags.

I had a small problem: I got stuck in the toilet! The door wouldn't open. My husband got the receptionist who brought in a maintenance man and fixed it (after I had escaped). Otherwise great location. Car park is a 7 minute drive (and walk) away.
