What Guests Say About Their Stay

Check-in was smooth. It is a golf cart community, but we did not need one as most things were accessible by foot. Gave us a chance to see the town properly and walk the beach. Location was key as it was within walking distance to everything, including an EXCELLENT Indian restaurant just outside the property. Staff was very friendly. Just note that this is a beer/wine resort, no alcoholic cocktails. But we had some amazing cocktails at the Blue Water Grill and at the Ol Tackle Box. The pool is small, but heated. The resort area beach is pristine , with 6 hammocks and many loungers. They have diving tours that depart directly from their pier. We went mid-December, so no huge crowds yet. Weather was also very pleasant. All in all, we had a fantastic, relaxing time at this resort.

The staff were friendly, tours booked excellent, and there was a level of hospitality that left us feeling very well cared for. Would definitely recommend the Mexican rocks, Hol Chan/ shark Ray alley tours. We also customized a Mayan Ruin (Altun Ha/ cave tubing/ Belize Zoo land tour) which my teenage kids also loved. Free kayaks and paddle boards I’d also recommend to check out if you are an active family. Lots of wildlife to see and safe as long as you respect the ocean/ the advice of your guides/ the animals. Food was good and they accommodated our vegetarian needs.

We stayed at Steve & Becky's sister property in room 247 from December 7 to December 15, 2025. First and foremost, the staff were all kind, hospitable, and efficient. The property overall is quite beautiful and special. The reason why I give cleanliness two stars is not because of the cleaning staff, but our room had black mold all over the wooden ceiling, and I did not notice until our last night, as I was staring up at the ceiling. There are also critters definitely living in the roof and walls of room 247. We heard them squeaking and scurrying very clearly all hours of the night. There was also a cockroach we had to capture and release. I am honestly not surprised there is a mold and pest issue, given the climate of San Pedro, the abundant (and beautiful) foliage on the property, and proximity to the beach and restaurants. Regardless, this is a serious health issue and needs to be addressed immediately. I hope my review is helpful for management. Please remediate the mold and call pest control.

We had an amazing week at Ramon's Village and it was a tropical paridise from start to finish. From Rianna who took care of our room to the ambiance and magic of the place we had a wonderful time. The food was good and the excursion with Ramon's to Hol Chan, the manitiee swim, the tarpons and Caye Caulker was delightful. Best snorkeling I have ever experienced. Watch out for the No See Ems. They are nasty little beings. I learned on my last day that you can buy jungle oil in the gift shop that helps (eucalyptus and oil).
