Ramon's Village Resort

The grounds were outstanding! The entire beach as well as the entire inner pathways were raked and cleaned every morning. We even witnessed the removal of coconuts and palm leaves being removed before they may have became a problem. Also witnessed the cart path to the lobby being dug up by 2 men with shovels and re-raked back to a smooth soft path. The pier was also beautifully kept and lighted for a night stroll out to the large covered viewing area (dock) at the end. The wait staff at the onsite restaurant were really friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. There are many sitting areas on the beach as well as around the pool, all very nice and there is also quite a few hammocks to lounge in. All in all this was a great place to stay! The only exception was the staff at the smoothie/coffe/beer store. These people always acted as if they were doing you a favor when charging for everything they prepared. I would also say that the air handlers, A/C units inside of the rooms need a serious cleaning! At least in the 2 rooms we and our friends had stayed in. They were moldy and filters were dirty.

The staff was fabulous! They were helpful, informative, friendly, and funny. The rooms could use a bit of love, but the beds were very comfortable. There was a sandy beach with snorkeling right off the beach. They offered many excursions, arranged our plane from the mainland, rented us a golf cart and kept it fueled. The gift shop has a bit of everything. The food was very good, and the smoothies were delicious. There is a smallish pool, abundant lounge chairs, and live music in the evening. The only thing lacking is a full bar. Beer and wine are available. Our grandkids loved the place and want to go back!

Many aspects made our stay at Ramon’s Village delighted us! Wonderfully helpful, friendly staff was paramount. Clean rooms and daily cleaning service was great! Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Special requests were patiently accommodated.

Steve and Becky’s is not a nice option on the property Would Not recommend it Too loud and rough Actual Ramon’s is nice Pay the extra cost to stay on that side

The beaches are absolutely beautiful, the staff was so helpful and friendly, the food options were great, and you can't beat the location!

The resort was amazing, right on the beach. Great pier, walkable to so many restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and kind. 5 stars!!

Great location and well cared for property

Check-in was smooth. It is a golf cart community, but we did not need one as most things were accessible by foot. Gave us a chance to see the town properly and walk the beach. Location was key as it was within walking distance to everything, including an EXCELLENT Indian restaurant just outside the property. Staff was very friendly. Just note that this is a beer/wine resort, no alcoholic cocktails. But we had some amazing cocktails at the Blue Water Grill and at the Ol Tackle Box. The pool is small, but heated. The resort area beach is pristine , with 6 hammocks and many loungers. They have diving tours that depart directly from their pier. We went mid-December, so no huge crowds yet. Weather was also very pleasant. All in all, we had a fantastic, relaxing time at this resort.

The staff were friendly, tours booked excellent, and there was a level of hospitality that left us feeling very well cared for. Would definitely recommend the Mexican rocks, Hol Chan/ shark Ray alley tours. We also customized a Mayan Ruin (Altun Ha/ cave tubing/ Belize Zoo land tour) which my teenage kids also loved. Free kayaks and paddle boards I’d also recommend to check out if you are an active family. Lots of wildlife to see and safe as long as you respect the ocean/ the advice of your guides/ the animals. Food was good and they accommodated our vegetarian needs.
