Rosslyn Central Park Hotel

Room was nice but very hot. Even with the temperature set to 10 degrees and full fan level 3 it was pumping out hot air. Due to this I had to have the window open meaning I was constantly having smoke come into my room from the street below, and meaning the room (facing the street with a tram) was so loud at night it was almost impossible to sleep. There was also music coming from downstairs until gone midnight all 3 nights I stayed, with the bass so loud even with earplugs in I could feel it in my bed. Don’t stay here if you want to rest

Where to start. This hotel was magnificent from the start. Checked in, helped with parking advice. Went through all the relevant details. The room was spacious, tidy and exceeded expectations. Especially if you go for a suite. The views are worth it.

Overall, I found this an excellent hotel to stay in. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was very spacious and clean. I was a little disappointed however that I asked the receptionist for a room with a bath which he kindly arranged for me, but the bath did not have a plug making it impossible to enjoy a hot goth in the evening! I did enquire about this. And was told that none of the baths in any of the rooms have plugs! I was a little surprised by this, however it didn't ruin my stay. The breakfast was also excellent and had many well labelled options to choose from. Overall, I found the hotel excellent, and I will visit it again in the future.

Decent location. Nice room

We were meant to stay in the sister hotel, we were transferred to this hotel due to works at original booking and only notified the day before which was a bit unexpected as they must have known about the works in advance. We were promised a suite instead of superior room booked for our stay for the inconvenience. We didn't get the suite the first night but we asked why not and were told we got free breakfast instead. This was not made clear at check in. Once we questioned the situation we were upgraded to suite with terrace for remainder of stay which was a nice room. The staff were friendly and had good attitudes and were helpful. I think there could be improved communication in this hotel, for example once we were told we had free breakfast, this hadn't been passed on to the breakfast team. The hotel feels more like a 3 star but appreciate this varies by country and region. The breakfast is quite basic but good enough. The area for breakfast is quite busy and is quite tight for space. The standard room we stayed in the first night had no working air conditioning and this wasn't communicated at check in and when we told the receptionist the next day they said they knew already which raises the question as to why they didn't let us know. The room was very hot and made for a poor night's sleep, we had to open the window and there was a lot of noise outside. Sofia is a nice city, quite relaxed with good eating and drinking options. Not too much to see so allows time to relax.

Incredible breakfast including fresh Bulgarian yogurt and Honeycomb! Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was fine but the prices at the minibar didn't were terrible.

The location is great. Outlets (or extension cords) for electricly powered personal hygiene devices (like waterpik) would have been nice.

The hotel is great, perfectly located and very comfortable. The staff at the reception could be nicer and more helpful. The tram is right out the door. We’d recommend the hotel!

Great location and room configuration. The carpet desperately needs to be replaced. The hair dryer situation is the worst of any hotel I have stayed at.

the hotel was very close to the center, it was clean but the personnel did not speak good english. communication was not that easy. I had requested a parking place for my car in their parking lot and they offered me a parking spot on the street in front of the hotel for 19 euros per day and if I left after 19:30 I would not be able to park again.

The location and condition of the hotel was superb! My only criticism was that there was as no air conditioning (cold air) due to the time of the year (March). This was very tough due to being on a high floor and the window only opened a few inches - it was boiling! There were no fans provided after I requested this - disappointing

The hotel is very nice, the breakfast is excellent, the only issue was the shower head but it was replaced immediately, and the fact that the lobby was in renovations and we didn’t know about it
