Staff were excellent and could not do enough for you.

Amazing stay ! Air conditioning broke however they upgraded us and replaced the other rooms AC right away to ensure it wouldn’t be broken for the next guest. Everyone was very accommodating and super nice !

This hotel is a hidden gem in downtown Kampot. The interesting decor and architecture, well appointed room, working wifi, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff made it a 10/10 for me.

ArtDeco repurposed Old Cinema was a lovley hotel for my purposes. CBD walkable. Comfortable beds and linen. Nice size rooms, sheltered pool, good breakfast, good wifi, and wonderfully helpful, and very polite staff. I look forward to my next visit

Fantastic staff.Fun quirky rooms. Very good breakfasts and we had a dinner which was beautifully presented and delicious. Nice little pool. Handy to everything.

There isn’t a better place to stay in Kampot. The location, food, staff, comfort and service are amazing!!! They answer any and all questions about the area and are helpful to arrange a countryside tour with an excellent English speaking guide and assist with scooter rentals. Rooms are clean and comfortable and they have three sizes available. The smallest one good for 1 person, if 2 people, I recommend the middle size. The king suite has extra room and a second sink area and a huge balcony. All rooms have fan in addition to AC.

Our 3-night stay at Hotel Old Cinema was one of the highlights of our trip around Cambodia. The boutique accommodation, with its sublime art deco decor, features well-appointed suites, superb pool area and luxe bar. The staff are fantastic, and breakfasts feel like a special occasion. Step out of the lobby onto the footpath and you are in amongst the action of Kampot. A wonderful stay that comes with our highest recommendation.

Great hotel. The staff were great, food was unbelievably, the breakfast was to die for. Made the Kampot stay.

This was an amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure me and my friend were well looked after. We got some great food recommendations and they were so helpful in organising tours and tuk tuks. Unfortunately my friend fell ill whilst we were there and the staff were so kind and caring. The decor was amazingly done, it was such a stylish and chic place to stay!

This is the place to stay in Kampot. Of the four locations across Cambodia, this was it for me. Convenient and gracious staff who go out of their way to impress. Magnificent.

The staff at Hotel Old Cinema were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions. Every meal we had was a treat! The breakfast was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of options that were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We stayed in one of the superior king suites, which did not disappoint. The room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a large balcony with an extra daybed that was perfect for relaxing.

Very friendly and informative staff. All aspects had been thought out. Hotel has a very quirky and fun theme. Helped us arrange a couple of rickshaw trips. Food was great. Hotel clean. And my wife loved the sheets

The staff was excellent. Jilly (sp?) was lovely. She was so helpful and friendly and just such an engaging person . The food was excellent. The 2 cats that live there (Nina and Simone) were very sweet and friendly. The location is great and you can walk to anything you want to see in town. If you want to visit a pepper farm the staff is happy to coordinate for you. The only negative for me is that the beds are super duper firm. I like a soft mattress so it wasn’t comfortable for me, but if you don’t mind a really firm bed, this is the place for you.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were a bit taken back by the outside appearance, but then when we entered a sanctuary opened up. The free standing facade is a left over from the old cinema, the hotel behind has been completed in 2019. The rooms are clean and cosely furnished, it feels like you are staying with friends. For staff and service i would give 10 stars, they are incredible. Breakfast is a la cart, and they always offer you extras which are not on the menu, best breakfast during our 2 weeks trip in Cambodia!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast! Funky but tasteful decor -- real personality to the hotel. Great location in downtown Kampot. Did booked here for a second night. Would be my first choice again. One caution: the stairs in this building might present an accessibility challenge for older adults or people with injuries. So if you need wheelchair access or strongly prefer an elevator (to travel only one floor), this might not be your best choice. Otherwise, can recommend whole-heartedly and do plan to repeat business here next time I am in Kampot.
