Capsule Hotel

this place would be ideal if I was traveling just a bit lighter. it's not meant to be hanging out and relaxing at for prolonged periods. if all you need is a safe place to rest at night, this is it. excellent service!

It's a comfy stay, got my own little space to recharge and the starry ceiling really add a good atmosphere.

Front desk reception was on his phone for a good 5 minutes before even acknowledging that I was there. They made a mistake but forced me to check two nights in online even though I only booked one night. I insisted and contacted Expedia and then they changed it on their system. The hygiene was horrible. There were dusts, dirt, hair everywhere on the floor of the shower rooom. Everything felt dirty. Capsule doors don’t open normally, it takes a few attempts each time. I think at least 40 people share the capsule room which you can imagine you can hear everything, at the middle of the night, the sounds from outside, people walking up and down the stairs (bathrooms, everything else were downstairs so people have to go up and down all the time) The capsule room doors were so loud. This is absolutely horrendous and for the price it charges, this is absolutely not worth it. Just go to a normal hostel.

It was a decent stay. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice. Had to go to basement to have access for the lockers to store luggage and also found the hallways a little too dark. There was no kitchen area either.

Good at price but no kitchen for self cooking, no in house bar, no meeting rooms, no convenient place to put suitcases while packing unpacking, no dressing room, no lounge, no refrigerator to put your stuff. Could have added so many facilities a hostel should have!

Terrible experience. The facilities were dirty (bathrooms, towels, and even the bedding were unclean). Staff were rude and unhelpful when we asked for assistance, and management dismissed our concerns, saying we shouldn’t expect better for the price. We left early and were refused a refund. Cleanliness and respect should be basic standards everywhere. Would not recommend.

Overall great experience, just could use some more frequent bathroom and stock checks. Very much recommend for a budget friendly downtown visit!

I checked in at 9pm when check in was at 3 and I found a dirty towel and slippers in my locker meaning no one bothered to clean my space the entire day. Even when they removed it for me, they didn't sanitize the locker. The bathroom was expected to be slightly dirty since it's shared but the next morning after it looked like it still wasn't clean.

The capsule was clean and spacious. Amenities were provided - common space and showers were clean. I recommend earplugs for the stay if you are sensitive to noise. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Great friendly staff. Great location

Embedded in a well-equipped welcoming, facilitating, and warmhearted staff, the capsule is an absolute hit to experience. While all tech in place, finding yourself in a cabin high enough to sit upright, long enough to lay top to toe, buttons to press allow your stars at the ceiling, reading light, mirror light, shelf light, or even watching TV, you sleep like a log and raise refreshed. Check on the lock and unlock, and buttons to optimum use, if needed ask the team. Make use of the large (even holding large suitcases) and the little locker (laptops books dayuse) that come with each capsule. Have a nice warm shower, use the provided towel, integrate at the wash basins, at the little launch using the washing machine, the hand-out wall to buy treats, toothpaste, technical stuff, taking a beverage at the coffee machine, the purifying water tap, or just read or talk, laptop work at the couch or at the tables. Ready to go for the day, ready to come back, easy to find and walk up St Laurant's arriving by the 747 bus from the airport at Levesque, any time in and out for its staff present 24/7. Go experience it! It is purely unique!

Really nice and comfortable space

I found that the bathroom floors were not clean, the towels service sufficed but the quality of towels was less than a typical gym, the capsule was comfortable enough to sleep in but getting in and out was awkward, the air conditioning was kind of hidden, and the LED lights around the buttons on the control panel do not go out, even with your own space you don't feel like you have privacy. I do say if it was cleaner and that the capsules were bigger it can be a good thing. The staff were friendly. Thankfully I was not at the hotel the whole time.

Solo female traveller. Three nights. It was great for what I needed: an affordable, safe place to sleep located within walking distance of the Convention center during the metro strike. This section of Boul Saint-Laurent is a bit sketchy; the adjacent buildings are abandoned, but I did not see drug paraphernalia near the hotel, and I did not feel unsafe. It is very well located to access pretty much anything. There is a coffee shop and a pharmacy nearby. There is no parking on site but there is an affordable outdoor parking lot less than 5 min away on Milton ave. My capsule (double bed) was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival and they were able to accomodate me with an early check in. The mattress is thin; if you have back problems, it may not be right for you. I found the bathrooms, showers and the lockers clean and did not notice any musty smell like some older reviews mentioned. The toilets' water tanks are very slow to fill after flushing so I found that many people did not take the time to flush properly, leaving it for the next person to flush. Think of it like a youth hostel with more privacy. If I could make a suggestion to management it would be to have a proper place for people to store their shoes as I found that the hallways are crowded with boots, slippers, umbrellas... The hallways are very dark and it is a tripping hazard. There is a coffee machine in the basement and vending machines. I enjoyed the experience and would come back :)

Great location and nice staff

It was terrible. Place was so dirty and smelly. I couldn’t stay felt like scary cave. So I left and booked another hotel.
