Even though the hotel is under construction it was clean and our room was brand newly renovated. Beautiful finishings. The staff were great also.

The room was very comfortable and the linens and towels excellent. Very spacious. Lighting was a little difficult as I never could turn on one of the lights, also the TV remote didn’t work well. I think its so ergonomically designed to be sleek but not very functional. The ventilation system was unfortunately very noisy and made for a disruptive night. The hotel is under construction at the time so maybe that will be fixed. Had some difficulties with room card not working (2 x) for one night stay. Overall good location with lovely river views

Currently under renovation. Great location along the water with nearby park. Room was good and with the ongoing renovations should only get better. Restaurant and Starbucks were popular.

The room was newly renovated, and the main lobby as well. The pool area could use some work, however. We also booked a room with a lake view and we received a partial lake view and the rest an ugly roof view. The windows outside of the hotel were extremely dirty as well and had not been cleaned in a long time. The staff were friendly.

I would suggest that bars be installed in the showers to facilitate getting in and out of the shower. The washrooms and bedroom quarters were nicely appointed, fresh, clean and modern.

The hotel was clean and the amenities were good. I made use of the gym and while it wasn't huge it was pretty good for a hotel. The restaurant was good with a nice outdoor terrace overlooking the river,

About twice a year we fly up from Ottawa to visit family in Sault Ste. Marie and we always stay at this hotel now. We bring our small dog, but they are welcome larger dogs as well. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. During this visit, they upgraded our room because the renovations to one of the newer king-size rooms and I must say we’ve stayed in this hotel quite a few times over the years and we appreciated the renovations. I would recommend this hotel to anybody! Patti Pigeau

Great workout facility! The hotel was undergoing a renovation, and we stayed in one of the unrenovated rooms. Even so, it didn't have a tired feeling.
