The staff were so nice and helpful, the hotel restaurant, Bar George, was fantastic. We stayed in the King room and it was great, it had a bidet, heated floors and toilet, a shower and a bathtub in it which were perfectly placed and you could change the lighting colour in the shower which was very cool. Lots of technology in the room for example the shades and curtains were drawn with a button, there were different light settings for different times of the day. I would 100% come back. The only thing is the bathroom doesn’t actually have a door its a sliding door that doesn’t close completely so that may be an issue depending on who you travel with.

Our prestige suite was great, and the one dinner we had at the hotel was an absolute delight. However what made our week-end stay really memorable was the staff who could not have been more personable or helpful. So kudos to Emelyne (front desk), Kevin (our waiter at dinner), Jeremy (our waiter on the terrace) and the doorman.

Le Mount Stephen Hotel was simply magnificent from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. The bar and restaurant were superb and because we stayed at the hotel, we were given reservations as we wanted them. For one dinner, we had excellent cocktails and incredible rigatoni pasta and wonderful beef wellington. We didn't want our dinner to end! Check out the hotel pictures of the bar and restaurant on their website. In person, more incredible than the pictures. All staff were top notch. The room accommodations were 20 stars out of 10. We had an excellent stay and will be back!

Clean & still new feeling rooms. It’s our go to for yearly trips to Montreal. My only critique is that some staff members in the main entrance and front desk could afford to smile a little. It’s literally free. Majority of the time we were entering and exiting the front door guys were congregating, chatting amongst each other without even looking our way. A welcoming smile & good bye goes a long way.

Room was decent, well equipped and comfortable. Staff were helpful with baggages at the front stairs. However, unfortunately, we were not able to experience the bar as it was too busy and the staff said there was no space. It would have been nice to have been offered an alternative as a guest staying at the hotel (i.e. a drink in another room or foyer).
