For a budget-friendly stay, it is well-equipped with essentials like a kettle, microwave, blow dryer, iron, and hangers. • Exceptional Staff: The team is friendly and accommodating. A major highlight was their willingness to provide luggage storage for early arrivals, allowing guests to explore the city before check-in. • Convenient Access: There are no issues with late-night entry, and room service is available upon request for basic necessities. The Cons: Comfort & Infrastructure • Limited Room Size: The rooms are notably smaller than standard double-occupancy rooms in other hotels, which may feel cramped for two people with luggage. • Heating Issues: The heating system struggled to keep up with the Montreal winter. Frequent manual adjustments were required to maintain a comfortable temperature. • Minimalist Stocking: Rooms were under-supplied initially, providing only one set of towels and no face cloths. You may need to proactively ask for more. • Lack of Basic Utensils: Despite having a microwave, the hotel does not provide utensils like forks. - Dollarama is close.

Nice room, clean hotel. It looked up to date and modern in most places, basement has a social area that looked cozy.

I booked this hotel for the same night; however, due to a system error, the reservation date was automatically changed to the following day. Because the reservation was non-refundable, I contacted Expedia immediately. They explained that they could not make any changes until they heard back from the property, but indicated that a refund was likely given the clear booking error. I then canceled the incorrect reservation and rebooked the correct night. Upon arrival, I explained the situation to the front desk and was explicitly told that the incorrect reservation had been canceled, was not charged, and that a refund would be issued. Later, Expedia informed me that the property chose to uphold the original cancellation policy and declined the waiver request. The property also stated that the incorrect reservation had been canceled and was unpaid, which directly contradicts what was communicated to me on site. This experience indicates inconsistent and misleading information regarding the handling of the reservation. Based on this, others may wish to exercise caution when booking.

The room, while aesthetically pleasing, was rather compact and did not comfortably accommodate two occupants. Furthermore, several essential amenities were absent, including a hand towel, a bath mat, and standard soap. The cleanliness of the room was also below expectations. We recommend that the hotel prioritize improving its housekeeping standards and ensure all fixtures are properly secured. For instance, the towel rack was improperly installed and unstable.

Lovely place! Only docked a star because I wasn’t expecting a joint door. I only had neighbours on that last day so I still enjoyed my stay

Great staff but keep in mind hotel is basic... no ice machine, no conditioner, etc. Can't beat the location and price.

The hotel is located in a nice spot where the metro is near by and you can easily get around. The parking situation is a bit complicated, much of the street parking is by permit only or paid in a way where you have to constantly check the meter (via an app). I ended up needing to park about a 10 minute walk away and move my car in the morning. For the price the room is solid, plenty of space for a single or couple travelers. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was truly odd, everything was placed really close to the walls in a way that made it hard to use the facilities. The walls are pretty thin, you are going to hear anyone outside or in the hallway. Also the hotel does not say Olympia anywhere on it, its Hôtel Le Saint-André.

Le personnel était accueillant et professionnel. Par contre, le frigo n'était pas branché à notre arrivée, et il manquait un tapis de bain. L'endroit était propre et confortable, même si on entendait beaucoup les bruits dans le corridor.

This hotel is a great place to stay, conveniently located near everything in the gay village. The internet connection is also excellent. I’ve been staying here since it was called Saint Andree.

Hotel is excellent and very good price, however both interactions i had with the staff were disappointing, the checkout was painfully slow and the person that checked me in at night was plain and simply rude and uninterested and made us wait about 25 min before he showed up. Other than that, the hotel was clean and in excellent condition.

Very nice service, clean room

Very noisy, could hear staff speaking very loudly at reception late at night. Could also easily hear pool table very late at night. A lot of light pollution in the room, blinds very inadequate. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

This hotel is a nice and affordable choice for a short-term stay. The staff were very friendly, and the price offers good value overall. The area feels a little unsafe at times, but it’s very convenient - close to the metro and other amenities. The room was a bit dated, but it was comfortable and met our needs.

Never in my life have I been asked to pay a fee for a hotel holding onto my luggage pre-check in. The room was not ready for us because we arrived in the morning, fair, however the guy at the check in tried to charge us $20 to hold onto our luggage while we walked around during the day, and when we refused he took them in for storage anyway. Leads me to believe he was trying to scam us. After that we limited our interactions with staff during our stay. The room itself was really small, had all the amenities we needed. The walls are thin so we could hear the neighbours often.

Such a wonderful welcome after a long journey. The team here are just lovely, friendly, helpful and go above and beyond. The room was spotless and the bed was difficult to get out of because it was so comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable and pleasurable stay.

Really scary neighbourhood. Difficult check in process wouldn't accept debit credit card, would use debit to leave deposit they made me leave to find a bank machine nothing available in area. No parking near hotel. Staff friendly not not problem solvers. Air conditioner in room kept turing on and off not working properly, room very uncomfortable. Elevator making strange noises, very decrepit. Very clean looking hotel.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the large parking garage near Berri-UQAM (formerly the bus station), which offers affordable rates. You can also easily reach the Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, and the heart of the Gay Village on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it a great base for exploring the city. I’d gladly stay here again.

Location is great. Close to the village and many bars and restaurants. Place has been updated, and rooms are spacious, but not the greatest quality. Our shower handle was broken and the fourth floor isn’t accessible by the elevator, so you have to walk up stairs. In general, it’s a great spot for a quick visit if you want to spend time in the village!

Clean rooms. Hotel was centrally located and convenient for access to shopping and restaurants. Staff was helpful and service was prompt for any issues that required attention.
