The hotel was great, rooms were spacious. The only downside was that the area was a bit noisy, and the air con had not yet been turned on for the year. It led to a stuffy room, and the noise was quite bad with the patio door open.

We arrived hours earlier than planned and we were allowed to check in which was so nice. We were able to relax, change, freshen up a bit before meeting up with our family later that day. Stephanie at the front desk was so helpful and courteous!

This property is in a great location downtown. The canal is right round the corner, a variety of coffee shops and restaurants are close by, as well as the Parliament buildings and the National Gallery. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it felt completely safe. Comfortable bed, but the shower was a bit feeble!

The staff were great, close to everything, quiet area. It could use a wee bit of updating and more conveniences inside the hotel. But otherwise is was a great experience.

OLD PROPERTY WITH MINUMUM UPGRADES DONE. NOT AN EMBASSY SUITES!!!! DECIEVING NAME. ROOMS ARE FROM THE SEVENTIES. BEDS HARD AS A ROCK. WASHROOM WAS TINY. PAINTED THE PLACE, UPDATED THE LOBBY AND STOPPED THERE. PAINTERS WERE WEARING BLINDFOLDS. PATCHWORK WAS PAINTED RIGHT OVER. THE 50 YEAR OLDISH CABINETS WERE PAINTED OVER...BADLY....APPLIANCES ANCIENT BOTTOM OF TINY FRIDGE HAS JUICE AND MILK STICKINESS, NO DISHWASHER.
COMPETITION ALOT MORE VALUE AND CHEAPER. SONDER IS A SHOWPIECE COMPARED TO THIS!!!
INVEST IN YOUR PROPERTY. I COME TO OTTAWA 3 TO 4 TIMES A YEAR. I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!! STOP USING EMBASSY NAME.

I like everything about the property, but the restaurant breakfast was not very good and neither was the service My eggs were cold. In the hallway, there was a smell of the kitchen and I was on the eleventh floor and it was on the first floor.

Good rates for the room. Couldn’t get parking directly at the hotel but was able to park at city for only $4.00 a night. Was able to walk to shopping and dinning. Friendly, efficient staff.

The kitchenette and balcony amenities allowed us to make it feel like home and also enjoy some fresh air - staff were exceptionally nice! Would definitely return again!
