Convenient location and friendly staff members.

The beds were comfortable but the room was outdated. Out toilet leaked once in a while but since it was one night it worked for us.

The room was a bit chilly and no heat control.

The C-train a block away was noisy, and the TV wouldn't turn on. Twice I've stayed and the free internet does not work.

Stayed here for a night in the city. Overall the location is great, nice and close to walkable stores and restaurants. The building has a 70’s flair to the outside which is nice to see in a world of grey. Staff were very helpful and sweet. I just feel for what they are charging there are some really small things they can change. Our room had something cracked and gross looking on the ceiling. Not a big deal but could have been fixed. The white shears behind the curtains needed to be thrown out years ago and replaced. They seem to be updating the hotel but I think they miss those little details that go a long way. DO NOT pay for the breakfast they offer - almost $20 a person for what you would find in most other hotels as complimentary. Take your money to a breakfast place nearby. Valet parking was nice and the cost was reasonable. Overall it was a great time but seeing as I’m middle aged now I have to write these reviews.

This hotel has seen better days. I wouldn’t stay here again as a type of clientele frequent this hotel or not people I would want to be associated with.

The overall condition of the property was extremely poor, especially for the price point. The room had a damp odor and the furnishings we're badly damaged and falling apart, I have seen better beside tables left on the curb. The room looked like it hasn't been updated since the late 90s, the air-conditioner didn't work and made a low hissing noise constantly. There were tiles missing in the bathroom, the laminate was peeling off multiple surfaces and the shower was very low, I had to duck to get under it. We called and asked if we could be switched to a more modern room and were told "All the rooms look the same!" The worst hotel I have stayed in.

Ramada is in the center of calgary downtown so you can immediately visit many places when you checking in. Its convinient too.

The room smells like cigarette that triggers my migraine.

I think you need to prepare some welcome water and a friger in a room.

Clean rooms, rooftop pool was nice, and the restaurant in the hotel was also very good.

Room was incredibly warm, called down to have it checked out and they brought up a fan and didn’t address the thermostat issue. We got very little sleep due to uncomfortable heat. Otherwise the room was ok, valet service was excellent, and staff were very friendly

If you like your bathrooms the size of an airline lavatory, you’re in luck. We’ve stayed here twice in the last year and both times our bathrooms were shockingly tiny compared to the size of the rest of the room. Like — you have to squeeze out of the way just to close the door — tiny. The beds are fairly comfy and the room itself felt spacious, on the other hand, which is what made the tiny bathrooms so incongruous. The air conditioning controls are old-timey and we couldn’t quite figure them out on either visit, but luckily the temperatures overall did not require cooling. The shower in our most recent room had a bizarre issue in that it seemed to have been plumbed backwards. There was no cold water at all. Your choices were piping hot (at the “cold” position) or pleasantly warm (at the “hot” position). We mentioned this in our checkout but who knows if it will be repaired. So be forewarned to check the temperature before you pull that shower diverter and hop in! We also normally expect rooms to have at least some sort of glassware — tumblers for a drink for example, or even a wine glass or two. Ours had nothing except a couple of styrofoam cups for the coffee maker. That seemed odd to us as well for a higher-end hotel. Overall, the location is great with restaurants nearby and easy parking. Downtown can be a bit noisy at times, but the windows are well insulated. Breakfast — if included in your rate — is quite nice.
