Park Hyatt Guangzhou

Wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt, front of service was very kind and helpful, we got a big discount on a room upgrade offered to us and allowed us to check in much earlier. They helped us everyday to catch a DiDi, we had an issue with our wechat, so they helped us with taxi service everyday. The room is very beautiful with stunning views, the service is fantastic with Le Labo products in the room and the rooms are very spacious. We really enjoyed looking at the Canton river view and tower every morning. I heard from my friend that this hotel is around 10 years old, but it is maintained very well and feels fresh. I thought it was much younger.

Staff are extremely friendly. I shopped a lot online and had a lot of deliveries. Staff were able to deliver them to my room. Very responsible. But, no food delivery allow like Meituan.

Second time staying there. It gonna become my go to if I’m in Guangzhou

Great experience at the hotel, it’s in the center of Guangzhou’s new CBD, you can easily get access to everywhere.

My parents love it. It is also very close to United States Consulate in Guangzhou.

Beautiful hotel, but because of the conference you have to wait extra time for them to get your room ready. Otherwise everything else is perfect.

Excellent customer service.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly when I walked in, nothing major, just a small stuff wasn’t cleaned off. The staff at the front desk take it very seriously and did a wonderful job to solve this problem. Great location and great staff. I had wonderful experience here and would stay again in the future. Highly recommended.

I’m posting this for my wife, as I booked the hotel for her solo trip. During the night the A/C wasn’t getting cool, it couldn’t get below 22 deg. The hotel didn’t even have a fan for to use. The hotel offered me a mediocre breakfast and a late check out after I complained and they moved me around to different rooms without any sleep. However, the next day while I was trying to take a nap around 11:45am, a man knocked on the door once and let himself into the room without saying anything. After my shock and I confronted him, he said he was room service and had the wrong room. When I checked out I asked to speak to the manager, Mark Wong, who said the man was checking laundry which is different than what the man said. Mark said they would investigate and call me later. They called me back to say after investigating the man knocked, so it was “ok” to which I replied he opened the door before I could say anything and the reply was “everyone has a different perception of time”. As a solo woman traveler, Mark’s indifference to the situation is unforgivable and he should be ashamed. There is absolutely no excuse for any staff entering a room without proper time and announcing why they are there. I’m thankful I was not changing or in the shower when the man entered.
