Tropical Gardens

Sharon at reception was exceptional. She was very thorough, informative and even assisted me with booking shuttles and tours. The property was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. So many pools and maintenance workers upkeeping the exterior. The walk to the Java coffee shop/Wave restaurant is 5 minutes and about 15 minutes to downtown which has many gift shops, restaurants and grocery stores. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in Coco Beach, as the locals WANT to help you. Golf cart rental is availiable and I would reccomend as walking is nice, but in +38 temperatures it can be a little challenging. Thank you T.G.

I am very impressed with Tropical Gardens.Was a beautiful apartment, quick and very polite staff.I feel very relaxed with the pool and amenities.I would come back to this place next year and bring my whole family.

Staff was easy to communicate with, they’ll send you a message on Expedia, then contacted me on what’s app (most of Costa Rica uses this). They sent me a pin to check-in location. Parking is provided in secure lot, right out side of condo. They give you a key that opens the automatic gate. Multiple pools on site. There is a small grocery store a couple blocks away that has all the essentials. Multiple restaurants/bars within walking distance. The beach is down the street and very nice. There’s a couple beach clubs with pools, that’ll will let you use the facilities if you buy some drinks or food.

The facility was great with plenty of pools around every corner. The 4 bedroom suite had great views from 3 levels of balconies on each side. The apartment has a joining door that connects the two with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen on each side. The staff was very friendly. The apartment was clean and worth every penny. Short walk to the beach. It was the perfect location for us. We explored many beaches and even the cloud forest.

This place was spectacular. It was set in the middle of a forested area and surrounded by wildlife. Also easy access to all the sites in the area. Would highly recommend.

We stayed only for 2 nights, but the apartment was clean, the pools are nice and clean. The mattress could be a little more comfortable but overall it was a good place to spend some nights.

The entire property was fantastic. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The unit we were given was perfect, lots of space for 4 people and the full kitchen was well used. Having the pools onsite and spread around the property was a great touch and all other owners/guests that we met were very helpful and friendly!

Beautiful property and area of Costa Rica. Check in process was slow and we had to wait over 2 hours for our room to be ready despite them being aware we were coming early. There was supposed to be transportation to our room but it wasn't available so we had to walk. BE WARNED the property has huge hills, climbs, and stairs. It is not for people who are out of shape or have mobility issues. Thankfully my kids and I are very fit. It's a 15 minute walk to town and 10 to the nearest beach access. Of course they want to rent you a golf cart for the week at $50USD per day. The town (Coco) has lots of food and shopping options. Lots of peddlers selling their goods. You have to be ok with saying no thank you. Food and drinks are not particularly cheap, but the food was excellent everywhere. We never had a bad meal. The property was very clean, yes there are lizards, to be expected. Very roomy. Shower water pressure could have been better. All in all we had a great stay and I would recommend it to friends for sure. Pura Vida!

The description of how many people fit the apartment are not correct. The sofa bed is impossible to sleep in. They tried to help us by sending a couch, but it wasn’t a good experience

The place doesn’t fit the amount of people offered. The “sofa bed” was a small old couch.

to be honest the keys barely work and it's just a little bit rough with the parking. you have to use a key and then there's like a gate and then with the door it's very rough. but honestly it's amazing service. the girl in the leasing office is awesome and I do think it's a great place. there's only one pool though. they say there's six but you have to walk to different places so be careful with that. it's a little tough to get to and stuff but it is a nice place overall

This has the potential to be very nice. However, the check-in is a nightmare. Mind you, there are no addresses on buildings nor are there any streets labeled. Checking in here and finding this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The company needs to really update and say where they are located. FYI: They need to check in at Pueblito Sur which is a commercial shopping center . The stay its self was nice. 3/5.

Centrally located property. The beach is three blocks away. The staff are friendly and helpful. They texted us immediately after our arrival for help us locate the property. There’s security at the gate. It was quiet and peaceful. My only issue was not having running water for 30 mins.

We loved our stay at Coco Sunset hill and literally cannot wait to go back. I would suggest arriving during business hours as it was rather challenging to locate in the dark but aside from that everything was excellent.

Very upscale, all the pools were amazing, clean & safe place. Terrace rooftop was icing on the cake! Close walk to the beach & downtown

It's a great place to spend some time there. Consider 6 swimming pools for a small complex, located in the Las Palmas area a Playa Del Coco. Our unit was on the third floor, with a beautiful view.
