Hotel Maritime

Price was reasonable for Copenhagen. The location is great, near the canal and plenty of eating places including Broen outdoor food market which has a good variety of reasonable priced food, you can get a drink and great atmosphere sitting outside. The room is very basic - a comfortable bed which takes up most of the room with a separate toilet/shower in a decent size room. I would have really liked a kettle in the room - missed tea/coffee making facilities. Good value if you are not intending spending a lot of time in the room

Great location, amazing location actually. Very small but since I didn’t spend much time there, that wasn’t much of an issue. Clean, cute and convenient!

I was expecting a small room, but it was very small. Had to basically live out of my suitcase. Staff was excellent.

This hotel has a great location, close to both Nyhavn and Strøget. Our twin room was smallish but had everything we needed and it was very clean throughout.

The hotel is near to all attractions in Copenhagen, very convenient if you’re traveling for a few days :)

When checking in just remind customers about WiFi and the lights in room. We are tired after very long travelling plus going through air procedures

The Maritime Hotel in Copenhagen was a fantastic stay! Check-in and check-out were seamless, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better—within walking distance to everything and just steps from the metro station. Highly recommended for convenience and comfort!

Staff were very friendly, room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Onsite breakfast and bar was convenient and location is within walking distance of so many sites

The service was top notch, the room itself was not particularly comfortable. Pretty scratchy towels, the deadbolt wasn’t working and no phone to call downstairs. The outlet is also nowhere near the bed. The details just aren’t well considered, but a fine place to crash for a night or two.

It doesn’t make sense that the hotel elevator doesn’t operate all the time. The elevator is shut down from midnight until 7 a.m. because there is no receptionist on duty. Our flight was in the morning, and we had to carry our suitcases down three floors by the stairs.

Staff were great and the breakfast was awesome.

Excellent hotel in an amazing location that can’t be beat. Everything is within walking distance. The colorful houses are less than a five minute walk away. There is a convenience store at the end of the block. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. I don’t think the negative reviews are very fair/accurate. Not sure why the people leaving negative reviews booked a budget hotel but expected a five star hotel, should’ve booked something pricier instead if they were looking for Danish royalty treatment.  Seems to be the type of people who just like to complain. 1. Yes, there are no TVs in the room, but if you’re visiting Denmark and your priority is watching TV, then that says more about you than the hotel.  2. The elevator does accommodate one person at a time but it’s quick so that wasn’t an issue. There was never a line waiting.  3. I didn’t think the walls were “thin” I never heard any other guests. Being in the heart of the city, obviously you’re going to hear cars/people on the street randomly but that’s normal. It wasn’t even loud or often that we did hear anything. If someone wanted a completely dead silent street, then they should’ve stayed in the suburbs. 

I was nervous booking this hotel after reading some reviews, but we had an amazing time! The hotel is located in a central, safe neighborhood which is really walkable, and only a 5-min walk to the metro. The rooms were reasonable for the price, the hotel was clean, and staff were amazing and really helpful! I recommend getting the breakfast at least once - it was absolutely delicious!

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. the location was great as we could walk within 5min to the very popular canal and have a large selection of restaurants or 5min to the metro. bus to central train was 2 min away so arriving with suitcases was also easy

The hotel is located in the heart of Copenhagen. Staff were excellent and quick to fix any issues. The rooms are not air conditioned but fans can be provided. We were there during a hot spell so we needed to use two fans. The single beds were comfortable. Not sure if any rooms have double/queen beds. The elevator is older and can only take one person plus your bags at a time. Try to stay on lower floors for this reason.

Lovely little hotel with good breakfast but no A/C and one-person lift …. but I would recommend and definitely book a stay there again.

The room lacked a fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, any air conditioning because it was hot because of summer and was also a dark grey room which held heat and absorbed light. The only cooling was via a noisy desk fan. Also it didn’t have a TV and the shower was pretty weak.
