Staff are very friendly and speak English which is fab. I am learning danish but not proficient yet. Rooms r clean. The only complaints i have are that the danish pillows r too soft for me and that the rooms aren't sound proof so if your neighbour has their tv on it seems really loud in your room. It was my second stay here, breakfast is excellent, great choice of cereal, breads, scrambled or soft boiled eggs, bacon etc. Coffee is delicious too.

Somewhat worn down facilities - very basic - not even a pen or hairdryer in the room - no toiletries - but they did provide for free upon request. Breakfast - decent - but the scrambled eggs serves
On that day - was either from a can - or the chef forgot to add salt …. Ordered a double bed- which was two single beds put together 🙈.

This was absolutely fine - though if you want a 'special, luxury' experience maybe this is not the hotel for you. For myself and my husband (visiting family) it was perfectly good - and very reasonable!
The breakfast was great - lovely eggs, bread, fruit, cheese etc...... I can't comment on the cold meats, or hot bacon and frankfurters, as I did not partake!
The beds were extremely comfortable - and the view from the window was beautiful - over the lake.
The bathroom was functional - fine for us - but as I say, if you are looking for a bit of luxury, maybe this is not the hotel for you. As for us - we'll be back in a few months!

Excellent place; quiet location, beautiful landscaped grounds, friendly and helpful staff, good food & drink available. And they accommodated us for early check-in, a real plus for those traveling by bicycle. Out of the bustle of City Center, but very close to everything.

One night stay on business, passing through. This is basic hotel. accom clean and tidy but needs a bit of refurb IMHO. Staff really nice. Located on outskirts of town. nice lakeside setting with easy access to walks etc. Pricey for what it was and for length of stay so will prob search somewhere else next time nearby.

A wonderful setting with beautiful views. Their is nothing wrong with the service, comfort or the (excellent) breakfast. However the hotel does need the proverbial 'lick of paint' and it is in desperate need of modernisation.

Nice hotel with great views. However, there was no kettle in the room, and the complementary tea and coffee in the lobby was unavailable because the machine had broken down. The restaurant was very nice, but compared to other patrons, our meal was massively oversized.

This is a very comfortable hotel in an open park-like setting on the edge of a gorgeous lake. Spacious rooms, well appojnted, Good WiFi. Really enjoyed hiking on and around the property. Excellent restaurant, if a bit pricey. Superb breakfast. Drive or walk 15 minutes into town.
