For en natts stopp er dette et utmerket alternativ. Enkel innsjekk og parkering rett utenfor inngsngsdøren. Stort rom med lite kjøkken, og stort bad. Litt lukt av fugtighet på badet. Meget innbydende frokost i et flott lokale. Hotellet ligger utenfor byen med en trafikert hivedvei like ved, men ikke sjenerende støy (vårt rom lå inn i gården)

Overraskende fint og så til den pris. Alt var pænt og i orden og al personalet var så venlige og imødekommende. Dejlig morgenmad lækkert og delikat arrangeret og der blev konstant ryddet op. Super beliggenhed til udflugter i omegnen og en rask gåtur så var man i centrum af Varde.

Great for our use - simple room and not many facilities. It was for sleeping and keeping our stuff while we were out and about. Easy to find and with easy acces when bringing a car. Kitchenware was old and a bit nasty, didn't feel clean. Bathroom was not very inviting and had a strange, damp smell.

Just for one night, but not much sleep as the bed was old and too soft. Pillows were terrible. It is rather a motel or a hostel than a hotel. The front of the rooms is a parking with gravel not tarmac, which gives a lot of noise. Room too hot as the roof is low and turned towards west and no air-conditioning. Restaurant closed during weekends.

Had a good night's sleep which was what I needed, no interruptions, could park the car right at the room entrance, front desk was closed when I arrived but the key was lying ready for me to pick up. Left in the night again long before breakfast was served, had no interaction with anyone at the hotel. Room was fine for getting much needed sleep.

The hotel is essentially a Motel but once you accept this the rooms are clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast is very good. Wifi is reasonable and the beds are excellent

This was my seventh stay at this hotel in the past 9 months. Something was different and seemed off. The coffee was late, the staff seemed slow, and things were just not normal. Then I realized the normal weekend woman (Ms. C) was not there. I later found out she was let go. This is a huge loss for this hotel.

Great for what we wanted, but not a hotel. We were at a running obstacle race weekend. So great shower, but thin towels. Great breakfast too. Room was fine and dandy. Outdoor chairs were a nice feature, but we were lucky with the weather. I’m sure I booked it because it said there was a pool, there isn’t a swimming pool, although there is a koi pond.

I brought my dog. To me, the way he is greeted is more important than how I am. The owner of the motel is a dog-lover herself. She has four (five?) dogs, who she obviously loves. I believe that two of them were rescued from abroad. My dog got a big piece of liverwurst from her. No restrictions were placed on him being in the room. When he barked at a cat, it was OK. I like it when people like my dog, and respects him. He is, after all, not only a dog. He is also my partner (he has worked with me as a therapy dog since my family first got him) and a great friend. Too many places in this world, dogs are not allowed. They are seen as dirty creatures. However, a dog can be the most empathetic, sympathetic being you can find. Therefore - treat my dog with dignity. Like they did at Hotel Varde

It was OK - the room was small and could have used a fan or A/C as there was no cross ventilation. Small kitchen was nice. The breakfast buffet was very nice.
