Our second stay at Lalandia. This time we went for a family trip during UK October half term for 6 days in Classic 8 house. Clean lodging and well equipped for kids and our elderly parents. Bring your own hairdryer though!
Convenient location from the housing area to the main activity centre at Lalandia, and Legoland. A bit further out for the Lego House/town centre but still walkable distance. Very nice Lalandia staff as well, especially the shuttle drivers who were patient and helpful.
Onsite restaurants and supermarket were higher priced as you might expect for a tourist location.
Aquadome has some fantastic slides/play areas for the kids. The wristband system for payments, locker and house access was very convenient.
Kids are hoping to return again next year!

We loved our stay my only small criticism is if you don’t take your own bedding with the pillows they supply were absolutely awful. However apart from that we had an amazing holiday.

Lalandia was a great base for exploring Billund. The waterpark and facilities were fantastic. The grounds ans playparks were extensive and great for all age children.

Spoke to said we couldn’t order a linen package, but another said we could. This is a problem as it is not really possible to bring linen with you when you are flying.

The holiday overall was excellent. So many different activities for children to keep them entertained all day. It felt safe and was extremely clean everywhere. The pool and soft play were brilliant and suitable for all my children ages 7-12. Legoland and the Lego house are a short walk, if you want to venture out. The only downside is that it is very expensive. 2 coffees and a cinnamon bun cost us £20, the average price for a meal out for a family of 5 was £170 - that’s 3 kids meals, no starters and one drink each. You also have to pay for the heating, electricity and water that you use in your accommodation at the end of the stay, which we have never done before.

Facilities are fantastic but accommodation can be up to 20 minute walk from the Lalandia hub. Not enough transport to the hub. Perfect for walking across the road to Legoland or into Billund for the Lego House.

Lalandia water dome is excellent, with flumes and water fun for kids of all ages. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were old and lumpy. Good location for legoland but some properties are a 20 min walk from the activity centre and main entrance. Some offers, like booking linen on-line, are only available for if you book direct, which is frustrating. Extra charges for water, heating and electricity, which for us cost €17, in the Summer.

Great location, close to lots of great attractions. Excellent restaurants and choice of activities. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, especially if your cabin is one of the further away ones, but there are lots of fabulous play parks along the routes to help encourage little ones to keep going!

We absolutely loved the resort, well maintained and so much for the kids to do. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only downside was the blinds in our lodge were not blackout. Also, we didnt have a car as we flew and our lodge was one of the furthest away (15 mins from check-in desk) which was a bit of a pain when lugging suitcases, however a shuttle bus does run every 30 mins which you can use. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately return.
