A lovely place to stay when visiting Ribe. Easy walk in to town about 8 mins away. Family friendly, in fact kid enthusiastic- a large playground onsite. Car friendly with parking nearby, but for us the 12 minute walk to the train station was scenic and enjoyable.
The breakfast consisted of slices of bread, buns, cheeses, individual portioned jams and butter. Along with boxed apple juice. All good, but not very exciting.

Staff were so friendly. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything you could need in the kitchen. I will definitely be visiting again. It was a short walk into Ribe which meant we didn't have to drive. Such a lovely place.

There seemed to be a lot of openings but we were given a second floor room. We had to drag our luggage up outside stairs for a one night stay.
Parking was also quite distant.

Had a lovely stay, after my mother-in-law recommended the place. It was nice and tidy. The kitchen had coffee and tea, and basic utensils. The beds were comfy, the shower had plenty of hot water. There was a playground just outside of our “apartment”. Another bonus is that it is dog-friendly (for a fee).

Didn’t tell us that bed linen and towels are not included and when we wanted to get some (costs extra) the reception was already closed and we had to sleep without linen and had no towels. Also, the furniture and set up of the apartment was super cheap which made this an overall disappointing experience.

Ribe is an amazing place and staying here you are walking distance from almost everything. You need to bring your own sheets and towels or rent them from the property. So if you are coming from overseas and/or staying only a night or two, plan on that added expense (though it is very reasonable). If you are coming from the United States, as we are, this isn’t a resort like Disney or Universal Studios. But the rooms all had kitchens, living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. If you’re staying for a while it is a fantastic place. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ribe Byferie. The receptionist were always extremely nice and helpful. They have bike rentals for 12 Kr a day, and there are also scooter and kayak rentals as well. Kitchens with all utensils, pots and pans. Microwave, oven, stove top, Medium sized fridge. There are a lot of windows on the apartment so it can get pretty hot during the summer. The views are wonderful, my suite included a rear porch, upstairs bunk-beds and master bedroom. Free tickets to the Ribe pool area that is near the down town area, and a card that gets you 10% off at a select few restaurants around the city. The best part was the grill area which included the charcoal and five grills for free usage. The fire pit was also great, and everything was extremely clean and orderly. The staff comes by every 7 days to clean, and will even hold your breakfast for you in the morning. The breakfast includes three bread slices, yogurt and a juice. If I'm ever back this way again, I will definitely stay at Ribe Byferie Resort.

We found a candy wrapper in the bed when putting sheets on the bed. Then found ants in the kitchen. Since we had checked in after hours (they close check in early on Sunday but we were not informed of that and arrive at 1630 to find check in closed) there was nothing we could do and had to deal with a dirty room. When notifying staff about it later they were incredibly rude and did not offer anything other than an indignant look and insistence that it was Expedia's fault we were not I formed about early close of check in on Sundays. I would not stay here again.

Nice little historic town. Resort is very clean, and quaint. Good facilities covering all bases. It's an apartment style resort, not a hotel, just in case folks are looking for that. The check is time bound so be sure to check what time your flight arrives. You also need to either bring or order a linen package.
