Sportshotel Vejen

The staff gave excellent service and advice on extra activities ie the use of the sports facilities namely the indoor and outdoor swimming pools diving boards hottubs and saunas. Reality recommended! Also dinner options at the sports centre was great but the breakfast with hot flapjacks was a treat. Thank you . I definitely recommend a stay.

Excellent place to stay!

Everything clean, comfortable, functional and efficient. Decor could do with some updating.

Breakfast was ok. Room size was not bad but this hotel should not be rated with more than 3 star acc. european standards. Playgrounds for children was also good

The sportshotel was a pleasant surprise, offering a really warm welcome, very large room and easy parking. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was pretty good. Overall the hotel provided exactly what we needed as a family.

Great if you like sports. Quite basic though and disappointed we couldn’t get into restaurant because there was a convention on.

I was pleased with all aspects of my stay except from the fact that my room had windows facing West during a quite warm summer day and the room had inadequate cooling. Much too hot in the room way into the night

The name should give the clue. This facility is accommodation for people using the adjacent sports centre and not really a hotel. The hotel is described as "a 4-star hotel in Vejen with restaurant and health club". In reality there is a sports centre somewhat adjacent to the hotel building "just outside and across the road" where they also have a swimming pool and a sauna etc. Access to the sports centre is for a fee. There are no leisure facilities in the 'hotel' at all. No coffee making facilities in the room and no kettle available either. There is a sitting area in one place where there is a 'free coffee' machine. Breakfast was meagre and uninspiring and served in what looks like a dining hall with long tables designed for groups of people eating together. The furnishing in the room was rather basic with narrow beds and a small desk more like a high class dormitory than a hotel room.

This was the only hotel near to my business meeting. The hotel is clean and easy to find, but is more like a hostel than a hotel. The staff are welcoming and the room was clean if basic.

The hotel is definitely good for sport group not for families vacation

Straightforward food at breakfast. Fine swimming pool and table tennis for free in/near hotel. Other sporting facilities available for a charge.

Hotellet er ved at være lidt slidt, vi har været her en 5-6 gange før og der er ikke gjort meget for at lyfte oplevelsen til det bedre. Ja det er ofte bare et sted at sove, når man er til arrangement i området. Vores to værelser lugtede af kloak og af et rengøringsmiddel som sikkert er forsøgt at dæmpe lugten. Men en 1/2 times udluftning før sovetid hjalp en del. Tror også vandlåse var tørret ud for efter vi begyndte bruge bad og håndvask gik det bedre. Til den pris vi betalte for værelser og div tillæg ifm hund kommer vi nok til at vælge andet hotel med højere standard.

I have booked a single room in the hotel and I got a little house just for one night really far away, the bed was not made, I had to do it myself. I had to drive back to the hotel to get breakfast. The receptionist claimed that I couldn't get a room at the hotel, even though I had booked very early. I find this completely incomprehensible. On top of that, I had to pay 400 kroner for my little Yorkshire terrier. I've never paid that much for a dog before, not even in the best hotels in Copenhagen. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Rent fine værelser . Alt var godt til den billige pris. Men ikke til ferie og romantiske ophold. Det er ucharmerende men funktionelt . God morgenmad
