HOTEL PERLA CENTRAL MALECON

The Perla is located conveniently across the IMAX theater on Malecon 2000. Everything within walking distance. The room I stayed in had a clean bathroom, as well as the bedroom. What could have been better was that the tv wasn't even connected so forget about watching tv. Also I found a bottle of water in the fridge, completely frozen. Other then that, pretty decent two star hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was not included but with plenty of choice to have breakfast outside of the hotel, I had no problem with that. Do keep in mind that if you want to have breakfast, you better wait untill 9am, not a lot of places open before 9am where you can have breakfast.

Decía que tenía incluído el desayuno... fue una sorpresa para la gente del hotel... luego de discutir accedieron a darlo, pero solo en una franja horaria de 45'. La reserva era por dos noches en una habitación gama media (matrimonial con cama king), me daban una gama baja y luego una media, sin reembolso alguno ni pedido de disculpas. conclusión: no es un mal lugar (además está bien ubicado), pero ni la descripción ni las fotos de la reserva se condicen con el Hotel y lo que incluye.

No tenía ascensor

Dirty walls, not what I paid for there was some sore of insect that bit me on the head, also the came to fumigate my room had to sleep in a very nasty chemical infested room, finally the last day they change my room to the type of room I paid for but it had no hot water, next to impossible to get a towel to shower, lots excuses but it appeared that the hotel was full and in order for them not to loose the business they would give any kind of room available to the clients, also there was lots of solders in the place the terrace was full of clothing drying such as underwear Sox etc….a real shameful place with a great location, your customer service was not helpful at all and will continue to write to the BBB to put in a complaint against you cause you are selling a product without inspecting it put people at risk…

Balcony view was very cool

No power, no ac no wifi. Too hot to even sleep. I left the first day. I tried to ask for a partial refund but their computer wasn’t even working.

The staff went above and beyond for me. The night I got there, there was no electricity. They helped me out that night. The staff may not have spoken much English, but they tried hard to make sure I knew what was going on.

They filled our room and turned us away even though we already had a paid reservation. After arguing, they put us up in an uncomfortable hotel next door.

Very ugly place and will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Great location and lovely, helpful staff. Breakfast was also good. 24 hour security, too. It's a bit like a Hostel, so the standard is average, but if you want a good, clean, comfortable room, I'd recommend it.

A localização é excelente, uma rua somente do Malecon, próximo de restaurantes e pontos turísticos. O estacionamento que diz estar incluído não está. Custa $3 e só pode usar entre 18h e 8h. Não é permitido parar na rua neste horário. Durante o dia tem flanelinha (sugerido pagar entre $0,50 e $1). Café da manhã preparado na hora. Vem café com leite ou café puro, um copo de suco natural, ovos, sanduíche de presunto e queijo, bem padrão Equador. Estava gostoso. As toalhas são velhas, não absorvem muito a água. Faltou tapete para o banheiro e toalha de rosto. Camas confortáveis. Roupa de cama limpa. Ar condicionado bem barulhento. Bastante barulho vindo da rua. Elevador não funciona. Funcionários prestativos e educados. Caro para o que oferece.

Al llegar me dijeron que no tenia reservación mientras yo habia pagado con u mes de anticipo y tambien con la covertura de seguro por persona pero todo esto por que sabian que llegaba tres busese con policias a hospedarse y medieron una paqueña con cama pequeña no lo que habia pagado, por ultimo sin agua los ultimos dias, y una cucaracha grandota en el baño
