The Georgian House was charming and full of character. The location was wonderful, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They truly made us feel at home and were one of the highlights of our visit. The only challenge was our room’s location and temperature. We were assigned a room on the fourth floor, and there is no elevator, so carrying luggage up several flights of stairs was difficult. Additionally, the room did not have air conditioning, and during our stay it became extremely hot. Even with the windows open, the room remained uncomfortably warm, and we often found ourselves sweating while trying to sleep. That said, the hotel’s charm, cleanliness, and outstanding staff made for a memorable stay. We would gladly stay again, but next time we would request a lower-floor room and would be mindful of visiting during warmer weather, and be prepared for a workout, because the stairs with luggage are no joke!

There was a continental breakfast for 12 GPB which included hot drinks and juices, cheese , cold cuts, dry cereal, breads, pastries, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit For 8GPB more, one could order a hot cooked breakfast.

Tidy, very clean and a little quaint, though modern where it counts. Quiet vibe and quieter staff. Friendly enough though. Location is very “Paddington”-esque. Pleasant place for a 1 or 2 night stopover.
