Kimpton FITZROY LONDON by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The history of the building is so interesting, all the links with the Titanic (look for Lucky George the dragon on the grand staircase). And the location is superb, easy walking distance into the British Museum, Shaftesbury Avenue and Soho

Stayed at this property for a short holiday in April. It was lovely from start to finish. The breakfast buffet was a lovely start to every morning.

Quite an enjoyable stay, only observation was that the room could use a little more light. But other than that the amenities are excellent and the service incredible

The fire alarm went of 3 times at about 9:30pm for a few seconds at a time. We called the front desk and they said it was a test. I doubt it was actually for a test, but if it was, probably shouldn’t do a test that late. Other than that, we loved the social hour, dinner, and cocktail lounge!

Very comfortable hotel, and I love the little goodies in the room

Hotel was convenient to many of the sites we went to in London. The only negative was a wedding held on a Saturday night with a very loud band which shook our room until midnight. If we visit London again we will be back at the hotel.

Overall this was a very clean, very well kept hotel and was good value for the price in London.

Superb hotel, my wife and I had the Bloomsbury suit and it was absolutely lovely. Staff are so so good, helpful and made the stay such a pleasure. Would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Fantastic.!!

Beautiful property and close to the tube! Not many restaurants within walking distance, but we would definitely stay here again!!

Whole experience feels very transactional. The staff in general don’t come across as warm . Only exception is the cheerful girl at the door . Nice parties and coffee/tea at the reception and location is 20 mins walk to Covent Garden Room is rather small

This property was very well located. The hotel facilities were in well maintained and luxurious. It is a renovated hotel and you can feel it. One of the two rooms was not as convenient as the shower ceiling was very short and was somehow inconvenient to take a shower. The staff could be more helpful, specially the Concierge.

Everything was excellent. Especially customer service.

The place is very nice but the facilities and service could be improved.

What can I say, it was my 50th Birthday and I wanted to do something special. I never find myself disappointed in London, its both mine and my partners favourite City in the world. We arrived at the Kimpton and both got the wow factor the minute we took the steps up into the beautiful iconic building. I was absolutely blown away by the architectural beauty within and if you are staying you have to go and find Lucky George. We only stayed one night but it was a night that I will never ever forget, Fitz's bar, cocktails and ambience. This vehicle has it all, step into this wonder and don't leave. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was surrounded by class. 5 HUGE STARS from me and a BIG thank you.

This property exudes elegance It is an architectural delight, the whole building and bodies and old world culture in a new world setting seamlessly brought together in a timeless way. Aesthetically this building and its decor is perfect in every way. As to the staff, they were excellent. Their customer service was top-notch. I can say stay here was the best experience.
