No air conditioning but the fan provided made the top floor room bearable.

Very helpful staff and a very convenient location for central London. The staff were all friendly helpful and accommodating. It was also great to have 2 adjoining rooms for the family to use. Would recommend staying here for central London breaks

Yes this is an older hotel, but it has character. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Lovely breakfast. Staff polite, helpful and friendly. What more could you want. Brilliant location, a stones throw from Paddington and Hyde Park. Will definitely return.

Clean hotel very close to all the amenities of Paddington and the station. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are only a short walk. Highly recommend.

Great location to Paddington station. The whole area was nice. If you travel when it's warm there is no ac. Be aware of that. They supply a fan and you can open windows but if you are sensitive to high temps be mindful.

We were excited for some old London charm but were met with a very dated, hot, uncomfortable experience. The rooms are TINY, as in you can’t sit on your bed and have room to walk to the bathroom. The bathroom was also so small you could barely shut the door. The floors are so wonky it’s almost a tripping hazard. And if the temps are warm you’re in trouble because there is no AC, the windows don’t open for ventilation and the tiny, loud fan they offer in the room does very little to cool you down. The front reception are friendly and the location is spot on, but we still checked out after one night for cleaner, more kept accommodations with AC.

The location is perfect for commuting around london and outside of london. Several underground stations within 5 min walk. Breakfast was great and staff was amazing. My only complaints are some updates that would help make the stay more accomodating- iron boards, fridge. Restaurants around the hotel are fabulous too!

I stay here twice a year with 2 old Army buddies. Staff are great especially Kate. Wonderful breakfast. Great location. I highly recommend it.

Great location. Room was very small and no AC. Small fans were provided.

Staff are a credit as is Breakfast. Room was awful. Family room - 3 single beds with a little gap between in a small room. Bathroom is dated with old chipped toilet seat, curtains with tears/ holes hung across a small window with elastic cable. Shower with fixed head low pressure. Sign advising to turn fully the on/off for best results. Paid £200 per night for 2 nights. Awful. Supposed to be a celebration of my daughter’s Graduation. Outside is very good. Hallway good! Placed on 4th floor - lift is very slow. Would definitely not stay here again. Would’ve moved hotels if I’d had the time! Parking - was told plenty of spaces - There’s only a few! And their policy is to take your car keys!

The place is very outdated and I personally would not recommend it.

The Breakfast was good but with a limited selection.

Location is great as it’s close to Hyde park and Westminster palace. Very close to Lancaster gate station and also Paddington train station to Heathrow Airport. Hotel has great full English breakfast and staff are wonderful. Hotel has no air conditioning.

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff are incredibly helpful and kind.

Hotel is in a typical London block. Internally dated and in need of refurbishment, brown bathroom suite! Wonky creeky flooring. Stayed during a heatwave and 4th floor room was sweltering hot, no A/C just a fan. Hugely over priced for anywhere else but London! Breakfast was ok.
