Excellent stay with my mother, enough space in the room to feel really comfortable with the two of us. Nice and quiet with a internal facing room. Lovely, helpful staff who hunted out a newspaper for us. Great to be able to store our cases while we were out and about for the day after check out.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, try clean & the decor was classy. Staff were extremely helpful. We were disappointed with the breakfast & it was chaotic. They need an update with new variety .. avocado etc.

Air con didn’t work. Breakfast was utter chaos - too small food area and too many people. Couldn’t get access to the spa. Had to pay for room service at the door - not on the bill.

I travelled from London to stay one night at the Midland with my daughters as a break for us all. From the moment we arrived the reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had one room for the three of us which was lovely, very spacious and very clean. We used the spa area which was lovely. The jacuzzi was like stepping into a hot bath and the pool was warm to. Just what we needed. Breakfast was great, the guy at the omelette station was also very friendly, nice guy. I would definitely visit this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Excellent staff and very welcoming. We had a mix up with the room and was corrected immediately. Hotel is stunning although room was a little dated and aircon was poor. But would definitely be back the main hotel is stunning and the staff are incredible!

Gorgeous spaceous room with much needed air con as a reprieve. She gives old world but elegance in the hotel. The lobby feels lush. They have bag check in which is fab. The breakfast looks amazing. Honestly feels that bit posher for a touch of indulgence. I also know the spa is simply wonderful.

Amazing hotel and services. Spa was great, only wish they provided hotel guest robes and slippers too as we ended up bare footed which is quite hazardous. Otherwise I loved the hotel and ambience. It was celebration for my husbands 40th and he was quite please too. Will definitely recommend

An I ionic hotel, which supposedly has been refurbished??? The wallpaper on the ceiling was hanging off, and the air conditioning did not work, the hotel provided a fan. I’m a proud Mancunian & stayed there many times. I will not stay there again. Shocking!

Beautiful and Hygienic Hotel but feels worn out. Some rooms are not at same level as the elevator and one might have to carry the heavy luggage 6-8 steps over stairs on the floors (happened in my case). Some rooms are situated at kind of mezzanine level of each floor. The AC ducts are very old and there's quite a bit of dust flows out throughout hotel including inside rooms. Which is visibly clear on all dark surfaces of the wooden furniture. Breakfast is exactly same as days. If you have business at the convention center, it is the most convenient hotel.
