Outstanding breakfast with huge variety of choices. The staff everywhere - front desk, dining room, bar were all pleasant and helpful! We were very impressed with the Hobo Hotel; it's location was excellent for getting around and seeing the inner city, near the Esplanade for relaxing and people watching. Will definitely recommend you to others.

A good hotel that I found to be well located for all I wanted to do. Just a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the central rail station and a number of trams also pass nearby. It’s a place that tries to be different, in a relaxed kind of way and they do it well. Room was simple but fine. Breakfast was good - would have liked a better choice of yoghurt rather than simply Greek - but if that the main issue then they are doing ok. Tried supper one evening in the bar and they did a good job on a simple spicy salami pizza. Dough was superb and topping was better than expected. So yes would recommend and use again if I pop back to Helsinki.
