Hotel Izzy

The room was comfortable and clean! The air conditioning was lovely amidst the heat-wave weather. The staff were very helpful and sweet. Loved how their was access to free cold drinking water 24/7.

Air conditioning did not work and I was charged 16 per person for scraps of breakfast

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Rooms were well cleaned everyday and the hotel location is super convenient. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Izzy and will definitely be back!

Really nice place. It is not super close to the downtown area but you can take a bus or metro and get there easily. Overall, I recommend it.

After check-in, we called the front desk to let them know that the seat cover of the toilet was broken. First of all they asked us whether we broke it or it was already broken. Very surprised by the question I answered that we had just checked in (like they didn't know what room was calling). They said that their technician had already left and that they would take care of it the day after. The day after we were out all day and upon our return, the seat cover was still not changed. I called again and they said that they didn't find any information about that on file. I insisted and he said that they ordered it and it wasn't in yet. He “promised” for the day after. The day after there was still nothing. I got mad and told them that this had been 2 nights and they never addressed the issue. This is when another guy told us to pack our stuff and leave them in the room before going out and that they would move us as soon as another room would be available. This also was some BS because when I asked at what time a room would be available, he couldn't answer and repeated that it is IF a room became available. We did not go through the hassle of packing and leave our stuff without the guaranty that they would change our room (which he could not guarantee) There was no manager on the premises. We spent 3 nights and never saw or spoke to the same person twice.Most of them were very arrogant, specially the last one who kept interrupting me.This hotel has zero service. Do not use it!

Sufficient for a budget friendly stay.

Hotel was excellent, affordable, and well-kept. They had a good breakfast buffet, and provided free coffee to all guests. The area around was decent, and nearby to all major transport systems which allowed for easy travel to all that Paris has to offer! I would highly recommended.

As soon as we arrived, we discovered that the siphon in the bathroom sink was broken, so it was impossible to wash our hands or brush our teeth. We went to reception, but they told us that someone would only be able to fix it the next day. The towels were stored under the sink and were already wet. I asked for replacements, and they did provide clean ones. The shower cubicle was very cramped and also leaked. The floor was dirty, and there were black hairs on the towels. I asked to change rooms since we needed a working sink, but they said no rooms were available. I then contacted support and requested a room change. They replied that we would be moved the next day, which did happen. The new room was fine. However, we had booked a room with a double bed, but in both rooms there were two single beds pushed together. They kept sliding apart during the night, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel Izzy was convenient, clean, great staff, easy to check in.

I had forgotten I had booked and they wrote 2 hours after the cut off time to cancel to tell me that they were looking forward to seeing me. When I tried to re-book for the new dates they wanted the cost of the new dates and the full fee for the days I would not be there - including one of the days which was included in the cancellation. There was no cancel the 1st night and hold the balance for another booking. No compromise. Our rules are our rules, no flexibility. I will need a hotel in the area in the future to attend Porte de Versailles exhibitions so will never use this one because of the way they treated me this time.

Lovely clean , small hotel with safe parking option

This was a good hotel for the price. The breakfast buffet was excellent and a fair price but they're smaller cheaper Express breakfast was very useful for our party members who don't eat much in the morning, except we had to inform the staff about it because it was on the website but they didn't seem to know of it.

I was told that I could check in at 1 and when I arrive shortly after the room was still not ready and I had to wait until 3 to get into my room. The air conditioning was amazing and definitely a highlight. There is a metro station 5 minutes away with a train into Paris. There are several restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries near by and as a solo female traveller I felt safe. A couple of cons were that there were wires sticking out of the ceiling light which was a little worrying and the tv remote was crusted in dirt and did not appear to have been cleaned which concerned me about other items in the room.

Should be rated 3 1/2 Star not 4. hallways are dirty and run down, breakfast soon is quite hot, and was left with no water for 5 hours one day

Amazing

Very comfortable, Easy to get around

About 7 minute walk to the subway station. Relatively quiet location. Food options are close. Corner convenient store for basic necessities. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a lingering sewer odor and I had issues trying to turn in cool air to have air circulation.

The staff was very welcoming and informative

The staff were kind and friendly and the location is peaceful and well connected to the Metro.
