The hotel room was clean, nice and simple, with everything needed. The view from the balcony was just great. The staff was nice and friendly. Make sure you arrive during check-in time. The restaurant didn't have any food or you would have had to reserve it a lot in advance and it was for bigger groups only which was a disappointment because there were no other restaurants nearby. The room deposit was held for a very long time for some reason (weeks). Wifi did not work. You can order bread and croissants for the morning in the evening before.

Pros: The property is right at the base of the ski slopes and takes 30 seconds to get to the snow. There is a ski rental shop in the hotel which simplifies things, and guests get a 30% reduction. The breakfast is pretty good with a decent selection. Cons: Very basic accomodation, no frills whatsoever. The pool changing area & "gym" is falling to pieces and looks terrible. The "gym" has a couple of exercise bikes, a rowing machine and...er... That's it. During check-out the receptionist told me to go back to my room on the sixth floor to empty the bin bag and clean a tiny spot on the microwave which I'd missed (apparently the cleaners are not employed for this). Plain vanilla place. The best part was an amazing view into the valley down into Grenoble. The room and eating area are small and not conducive to much more than just sleeping and or making a cup of coffee. They have a warm and cozy bar and restaurant downstairs that made up for it though. Good food and a really interesting rock band the night we were there in French with a double bass! The local hiking and outdoor scenery is really the reason to be here (not the room) and that will not disappoint.
