After traveling to Rome, Marseille, Bordeaux and Paris, the Avani in Frankfurt was the best hotel of all! Nice reception area, the staff could not be nicer or more helpful, and - after the teeny rooms in other hotels - the room was so spacious! And was so reasonably priced! The breakfast was great, also with attentive staff. I will always look for an Avani property when I travel.

Came for two nights. We ordered a king bed, yet although not informed in advance we’re given two single beds. They were big enough. Otherwise the room was comfortable and clean. The next day we were offered the appropriate room, but that was inconvenient. We were also offered free breakfast. All staff members were extremely kind. The breakfast was very good. The room very nice.

I reservated two room for my family because they didn't have room for 3 people. Air condition in our room didn't work, it was very hot in the room. They started explaining that the hotel system works according to the seasons & they can give us a fan, but in some reason in the loby air conditioner worked very well "not according the seasons". We asced for a change the room.
Some girl in the reception wasn't so nice to us.
Overall experience was okay: the breakfast was good, room cleaning was good.

In general the hotel is nice and the breakfast was good. There was only one issue with beds.. We stayed in the hotel with two children of 8 and 10 years old, while booking it was written that we would be offered OR two double beds OR four single beds but when we arrived there was only double bed and a narrow sofa. I told the manager that sofa was not ok, she said she'd settle it and led us to another suite with double bed in one room and the other room was empty with no beds. The manager told me several times that they'd bring us two single beds for our kids but once again the staff brought us the narrow sofa. I told them it's not ok for us because it's too narrow for the kids but it turned out that the staff didn't understand any of my words, they did not understand English and they just covered the bed and went away. I returned to managers on the reception, they told me that they "could only bring one more single bed but there's no more place for it". So I had to agree for the sofa but I was really upset, I didn't understand why couldn't they initially just bring two single beds.. I wish I had more comfortable stay for my kids.

We had just 2 nights here, but this hotel is perfect. The highlights are great staff, the bar and restaurant area and foyer area, which were amazingly and tastefully decorated, in a retro style. We spent plenty of time here! Very convenient too. The online check in was great too. Highly recommended.

Great location, nice room. Breakfast was great and liked the vibe of the hotel. Bed was very firm and couldn’t really control the ac are the only negatives. Still recommended especially if the price is good!

The hotel was absolutely boiling. It was impossible to sleep. The air con does not work. And you can’t open the window due to the busy main road below. We tried 3 rooms before accepting our fate. First room the electrics kept tripping, second room the window was broken. Third room was ok. Holes in curtains and as mentioned crazy hot and very loud due to the busy main road.

A funky hotel in Konstablerwache, close to metro stop and right in the middle of restaurants and shopping precincts. Restaurant had a good atmosphere and there is a gym (although that’s not for me!) Reception check in was smooth but the gentleman who checked me out was very stern - a nice smile wouldn’t have gone amiss! The coffee machine in the room was very welcome (but it needed a dust) and the free water, coffee pods and tea was very welcome. We stayed four nights and used the last day to travel to Mainz - a charming place with a nice park and some beautiful properties.

Average room but was not expecting much due to low cost. One complaint was that our bathroom sink was stopped up. I called to complain. Receptionist already knew sink had issued. I was confused as to why they would put me in room with stopped up sink. No one came to fix it. We were there three days.

We had a lovely view from the balcony of our room of the surrounding urban area with a view of the Dom. It was fairly central to the city and just a short walk to everything we wanted to see. It was clean with nice amenities and the staff was friendly and helpful. Marta, the concierge, is a lovely person, friendly, and so very helpful.

Room was spacious and very clean. Included a wardrobe, desk, desk chair, armchair, large bed and side tables. Window can open, which is great.
The bathroom was also spacious with a rain or normal shower option. Bathrobes and slippers provided.
The corridors are wide and spotless and no disruption from other guests.
The breakfast was included as an Expedia VIP Access perk and was great, loads to choose from - hot food like sausages and eggs, cereals, fruits, different breads, cold meat, cheeses, pastries, cakes, and an omelette station with a chef cooking to order.
Location is great - 5 mins walk from a main station that has the U and S trains. 5 mins from main shopping and 10mins from the old town square. The DFF was about 25min walk away through the old town, across the bridge and along the river - nowhere feels far when the weather is good!
Would definitely stay here again.
