This historic palace of empress Victoria is beyond exceptional. The grounds were pristine with trees from all over the world. The palace is full of oil paintings, stained glass and exquisitely carved furniture. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, a two person bathtub and music in the bathroom. My husband and I stayed here for a night about three weeks ago for our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and we did not expect to have a bellhop helped deliver our luggage to our room, which was amazing! The castle itself of course is beautiful, feels like a museum almost if you walk and explore each level. Our only complaint was that we thought there was a free shuttle bus that took us to the airport, instead we had to order a taxi which was a bit pricey. However, we appreciate the great service from the staff, and look forward to staying here again sometime in the future!

The beautiful antiques and surroundings were absolutely superb but the bedroom needed an upgrade. The staff were super friendly, polite and helpful and spoke excellent English.

The castle is beautiful! We loved our stay. All the staff are kind, the room was comfortable, loved enjoying the gardens outside.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Germany. It's a beautiful palace, built for an actual queen. The rooms are all unique and well furnished. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are large. Each room I've stayed in has a delightful large bathtub. Breakfast is delicious and served in an elegant dining room. Dinner in the restaurant is marvelous and also served in an elegant dining room or on the beautiful back terrace. The staff are efficient and friendly and knowledgeable and kind. The entire experience was joyful. My girlfriend felt like a princess. I plan to return to this hotel, and I highly recommend it to others. They have a Porsche available to rent, a very cool experience if you enjoy driving. The gardens around the hotel, especially the rose garden, are magnificent. The golf course that surrounds the hotel isn't run by the hotel and is highly exclusive. If you're not an accredited golfer, they won't let you play, or even use the driving range, even if you're a hotel guest. Not being able to golf was the only negative aspect of our time at this hotel. Next time I'll call the golf course in advance to avoid any unexpected problems. Overall, this hotel is amazing and I give it my highest recommendation.

Nice hysterical place

Although it is far from the old city, it is a perfect accommodation for a night. It felt like I was in an old castle, and it was an anniversary, and I was grateful for the congratulatory drinks and fruit gifts. The staff is kind and car parking is convenient.

Loved our stay and the room was amazing! Loved the interior design and the castle interior itself was a delight to admire. If only we didn’t have a tight schedule we would’ve definitely stayed 2 more nights. Complementary drinks were very good and speakers in the bathroom was amazing. The bed was so comfortable we slept so well. The only thing is the wifi isn’t strong so it wasn’t convenient to contact reception you had to keep going down. Also please update your hotel entrance on google because it was completely incorrect pointing us to the back entrance of the property which was locked and had no idea how to access it until a local saw us with luggages and offered to drop us off. The next day when we left the uber driver had the same issue not knowing how to access the property because google pointed him where we were initially dropped off at the back of the property so the bell man had to direct him. Otherwise our stay was fantastic!

We had an extremely upsetting and humiliating experience during our recent stay. After arriving and seeing a dessert cart unattended in the hallway (with other guests were enjoying the desserts) our children took a few cakes, thinking it was self-service. Suddenly, a man—later identified as the bar manager—rushed over, aggressively took the cakes from us, and threw them in the trash. He spoke rudely and ignored my husband’s question about how we could pay. He just gave us a harsh warning this was not self service.There was no signage on the cart, and we had no way to know the setup wasn’t self-service. While this individual later came to apologize, his tone was condescending and dismissive after we reported it to front desk. He insisted that we broke the rules by pointing to signage at the hotel entrance. The sign through our translation app only says generic welcome message. When i asked for his manager, he said he is the manager and no one else above him we could talk to. He also said he only talked to my husband not me which directly put me into panic attack. Two other managers later came to our room to offer complimentary drinks and dinner, which we appreciated—but unfortunately it didn’t undo the damage. Later on in the evening i felt heart pain. To make matters worse, we believe our treatment may have been racially biased. As an Asian family, we felt singled out and humiliated in a way that seemed rooted in more than just a misunderstanding.

It is very beatifull, all the surroundings and the Hotel Overall, but it is a Little Bit boring.

Staying in the castle hotel was amazing. Staff were all professional and showed an interest in our comfort and making our stay as good as possible. The castle/hotel grounds were lovely. Only thing I would say was a little challenging was the AC. We ended up sleeping with the window open to cool the room effectively. No biggie!! Thank you for an amazing stay!! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is Queen Vic’s daughter’s home (built after the sudden death of her husband; the King of Prussia). You get the vibe - v stately home. Awesome place to stay, great staff & beautiful surrounding townships & countryside. Would highly recommend for a memorable stay in the Frankfurt environs.

Fabulous castle

A truly unique gem. This was our favorite stay on our European adventure. Our only regret was not booking more nights.

This was the most gorgeous place I have ever stayed. I truly felt like royalty and was treated as such as well. Thank you so much for such a magical experience.
