The hotel was in a pieceful location with spectacular bieqs of the sea. The location was ideal for us as we wanted a relaxing hideaway near the beach, which was A very short 2 minute walk under the coastal road in a purpose built walkway. Lifts serve every part of the hotel, restaurant and beach too (though I don't believe the main pool was accessible via a lift, so worth noting there are a few steps to that). The food was varied, fresh and very well presented. I particularly enjoyed the wonderful salads, yogurt and the ample supply of seafood and fish. The Greek night was great too. We got involved in the beachfront stretching and yoga sessions which was great. Staff were hardworking and I personally found the hotel to be exceptionally clean. The people are a mix of ages and nationalities which we liked too. There is a public bus stop in front of the hotel that can take you to Agios Nicolaos and from there to Heraklion Airport and city and well as to Plan a for a cheap trip to Spinalonga island, the deserted ex leper colony, which was fascinating and eerily beautiful. I recommend this hotel for a peaceful holiday with plenty of local day trips available by public transport too.

Nice hotel close to the beach, staff was top notch, the head waiter went so far as to order special Ice Cream for our Daughter that can’t eat any protein or milk products. The rooms are dated but it makes up for it by the pool side with plenty of seats to spare. The drinks aren’t top shelf but if your not a big drinker then who cares. It’s a good mix of family and couples enjoying this location.

The view is amazing. Make sure you get a Seaview room or better yet a Seaview junior suite with a jacuzzi. My fiance and I would watch the sunrise while enjoying our morning coffee in the jacuzzi. The pool area is nice, although the pool isn't heated so if it's not summer it may be chilly for some people. I didn't mind it though. The food in the ala carte restaurants was overall fantastic other than a couple disappointing dishes. The staff and service was really good. We had a few problems our first night that really worried us, but after talking to the management, they really made a huge effort to improve our experience and the rest of our stay was great. Now for the bad part. The majority of the food in the main restaurant buffet is really bad. If you want good food, the buffet will upset you. For breakfast you're safe with fruit, yogurt, toast, and the omelette bar, but most of the other hot bar items are terrible. For the dinner buffet, you're safe with the salad bar items, but the hot bar items and most of the desserts were awful. I guess maybe that's a common thing with all inclusive resorts, they put effort into the ala carte food, but skimp on the quality of the buffet foods. The complimentary wine and beer is very poor quality. Also the drinks at the bars are mostly disappointing because instead of real juice for mixers, they uses syrup concentrates. If you want better quality drinks either buy a bottle of nicer wine from the restaurant or go into town.

Although classified as a 5 star hotel the amenities and service didn't meet that standard. The room was a reasonable size but all three beds were not comfortable. The view from the balcony was superb but the furniture was tired and weather-stained. Most staff didn't engage and did not focus on the customers. There were a couple of exceptions, but I expected more. Waiting staff often tried to remove plates before we had finished. The evening entertainment was puerile. This was especially disappointing as it was not really feasible to travel the 6km to Aghios Nikolaos, in the evening, with my young daughter, and the hotel has no entertainment close to it. The quality of the all-inclusive wine and beer left a lot to be desired. Neither red nor white wine were really palatable and the beer (lager) seemed to be very light. Red wine was served chilled in the restaurant which is not the way to do it, The food was pretty good, although labeling needs to be improved. It was not obvious to my vegetarian friend what hors d'oeuvres contained meat, or meat products. The pool had a shortage of sunbeds, and many that had been reserved early in the morning seemed to be empty all day. The mail pool is reasonably sized but contains sea-water. Pool-bar service was quick but off-hand. Overall, the hotel and facilities were disappointing and fell short of five star experiences I have had elsewhere in the world.

We enjoyed a week at the hotel . Food was good, staff were helpful when asked but not proactive. We had issues with our booking due to the manager being sacked which was bad timing for us and there were obvious difficulties for staff although they tried their best. Room was clean but somewhat worn. Definitely no where near 5 stars, a fair assessment would be 3 stars. Entertainment in the evening was none existent on Sunday when we had been looking forward to the Greek night which had been advertised all week and then cancelled about an hour before it was due to start. Table tennis room was horrendous with graffiti and peeling paint it looked like an old bus shelter. Children's club was also very dour and I would not have liked to leave a child in there , no reflection on staff just surroundings. Beach and pool area were very nice. The loungers were reserved with towels! This should not be allowed as some were left on the same loungers overnight for days. We did enjoy our stay as we got a reasonable deal but don't pay much or you will be disappointed. Also lots of steps and steep ramps so it could be difficult for buggies , childrenand older people.

The hotel is kept really clean, and the bedrooms and balconies have great views. Sadly the staff (Apart from the chef who was great) although pleasant have no interaction with you at all. No pleasantries and it was not until we checked out that we were asked how our we were and if we had enjoyed our stay. Interaction is so important but the staff were like robots, doing their jobs and nothing else . Saying hello how are you costs nothing, training is needed. The size of pool for the amount of people was far too small. Didn't enjoy being sandwiched in, must be awful on high season. Food wS very good in the buffet as was the two other restaurants. Enjoyed the stay but nowhere near a five star.

This hotel and service was more like a 3 star ! Food was good Rooms were shabby the first room was awful and I said this us not like your pictures on the website he said this is the room you have chosen the one on the website would be 300 euros more I wanted a lovely holiday so I paid reluntantly:(.. Awful plastic chairs by the pool set in an uneven surface. Gym opens at 10am ??? This is ridiculous ! Al le carte restaurants 2 days in advance booking required and you had to choose what you wanted to eat when you booked from a set menu !!! This is ridiculous too! The buffet restaurant was is more like a canteen seating for 4 persons is too small and we were questioned when we moved to a larger table ! Quite rudely too one waiter said that "I was not considering other guests" Too many smokers around no designated smoking areas especially around the pool bar ! Entertainment was poor and during the day far too loud ! We spent most of our holiday by the beach the sea the service in this area was adequate. We hired a car for the day on the Thursday and had a wonderful time at Plaka beach we ate there both lunch and dinner and paid for this. This was the best day away from the hotel !

Very clean and comfortable. Food very nice in main restaurant although it was very noisy and much like a cafeteria. The al la carte was much to be desired however! Cancelled our second sitting preferring the main restaurant food. The animation team were very sweet and friendly - however the shows were extremely amateurish and we were very disappointed. You have to see one to believe it! The main bar could do with some live music as generally the place had not much to do during the evening except the shows. We enjoyed the water gym run by Kirsty - it was a lot of fun, and there seemed to be enough to keep children entertained with a kids club (although we can't vouch for it as we didn't have any kids with us! Beds were very hard - by the end of our week we were all a bit stiff! Our main complaint is the fact that sun beds are reserved by people getting up as early as 6.30am in the morning and placing their towels on them. They really need a pool guy to stop this, it was ridiculous.

Good hotel, right on the beach. Lovely pool, though salt water and a few more loungers needed but we never had a problem. Lovely salads, food and plenty of fresh fruit. Branded spirits, and bar was quiet. Staff try hard to help and meet requirements, animation team really do try hard to get participation in their activities. Great for those with children, plenty of activities and the mini club team actively went round the pool telling families what was on. We don't have kids, but they all seemed to have a great time.

Whilst it is fun and the all inclusive is necessary being so far away from anything The rooms are basic and I can't believe a shower curtain even exists in a 5 star hotel Staff are non greek speaking and could be friendlier

Beautiful location and amazing views from the room balcony and the front of the hotel. All the staff were friendly at all times. Rooms cleaned and bed linen changed daily. Hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. The food and the selection in the all inlcusive deal was excellent. I would never get bored with the meals they prepared!
