It’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, very very close to the acropolis and acropolis museum.

Pretty nice boutique hotel close to everything.

Impressed with the power saving opportunities of the room. I was told I had a city view from my room. My view was an alley. If that is a city view, something is lost in translation.

Great location! Food is amazing! Loved it, will definitely return if in Athens.

The hotel itself was super comfortable, with a great bed that made for a perfect night’s sleep after a busy day of exploring. The breakfast was also a highlight – fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to start the day right. What I loved most was the location – you couldn’t ask for a better spot, right in the heart of Plaka, just a short walk from the Acropolis. You’re close to everything, and it’s super easy to explore the city's rich history and culture. The area also felt very safe and well-connected, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Overall, the hotel was a great choice for anyone visiting Athens – comfortable, well-located, and offering excellent service. Would definitely recommend it!

La terrasse sur le toit donnant sur une vue incroyable sur le Panthéon n'est plus accessible et la réouverture n'est pas prévue. Aucune notification a ce sujet n'a été faite, ni sur Hotel.com,ni sur leur site. Sans l'accès à cette terrasse, l'hôtel ne se démaque pas des autres et son prix est sur évalué.

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel in central Athens, just outside the Acropolis. The location was perfect – clean, safe, and in a lovely area. You could walk in a straight line from the hotel to Parliament, passing charming little shops, restaurants, and traditional taverns along the way. The room was very spacious and incredibly quiet, which made for a restful stay. We chose to upgrade to a room with an Acropolis view, and it was absolutely worth it – truly stunning. The only small downside was the lack of furniture on the balcony, which made it hard to fully enjoy the view. Still, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast was simple but very nice – exactly what you’d want to start the day. Fresh orange juice, good quality coffee, and a selection of basic but fresh items. The staff were kind and welcoming, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return!

The location was outstanding. Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, excellent restaurants, shops, Metro, Hop-on bus stop were all within a few blocks, and the breakfasts were great. Highly recommend.

Excellence breakfast and fabulous costumes service

Perfect Athens Stay We were three couples who stayed four nights at Coco-Mat Athens BC, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel is in a prime location — less than a 10-minute walk to the Acropolis, Parthenon, and all the restaurants in the Plaka district. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with balconies, strong A/C, and excellent hot water in the showers. Housekeeping came daily, and we loved being able to choose our pillow firmness for a customized sleep experience. Breakfast was a standout — honestly the best buffet we’ve had anywhere. Highlights included honey from a fresh honeycomb, orange juice pressed right in front of us, eggs made to order, and incredibly attentive staff. We were even offered glasses of water when we sat down in the lobby to rest — such thoughtful service. The spa and massage therapists were excellent, providing a relaxing break from the busy city. Internet was strong and reliable throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, especially the doormen who greeted us every time we returned. The only downside was that the rooftop pool was closed indefinitely during our stay, which was disappointing. But everything else made up for it. Highly recommend Coco-Mat Athens BC for anyone visiting Athens — it’s stylish, welcoming, and in the heart of everything.

Good clean hotel, well located and new. Staff are great. The rooms are a little small and the bathroom layout is a bit strange. The gym is very limited, they have space for more equipment but aren’t using it effectively. Feels disingenuous that the rooftop has been closed for over a year but they are using these images in their marketing and all over their website. They then send you a message after you have booked that it is closed. This should be removed as it’s not included in the hotel and so is really false advertising . The weird efforts to sell you the bed/mattress are very off-putting. This includes a notice in your room, a branded pillow on the bed, notes on your key card and a full size bed in the gym area (yes, really). It really downgrades the atmosphere and makes the hotel feel a bit cheap.

This hotel was well located in Athens close by the Acropolis Museum. It is modern and comfortable the staff were helpful friendly and professional. It exceeded our expectations
