Nomads Hotel Petra

Endroit très propre près de l’entre de Pétra! Le personnel est professionnel et gentil. On peut même y prendre un verre de vin ou une petite bière!

The Nomads Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Petra. The beds are comfortable the AC is excellent the rooms are modern and fresh. The staff are polite and welcoming. I would stay here in a heart beat. The only thing to note is the hotel sits at the top of a very steep hill which you have to go down to get to Petra. However this isn’t a issue as there’s plenty of taxis around and they only charge 2-5JD for a trip down.

During our stay at Nomads Hotel Petra, we had a pleasant experience overall. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety and quality that we truly enjoyed. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The location is very convenient, being close to the Petra Ancient City, which made exploring the site much easier. However, the room was quite small for two adults and two children, which made it feel a bit cramped. Despite the limited space, the positive hospitality, enjoyable breakfast, and excellent location made our stay a good experience overall.

Clean, spacious dorms and great roof top with views of town and sunsets. The dinner they offer is very good and a must try.

Really great stay. Walking distance to visitor centre ticket office (steep hill) So good to be able to just get up and go in the mornings. Staff very friendly, room quiet, really comfy beds (family room) Bathroom a bit dingy, but adequate. Not always hot water. Breakfast excellent, beautiful view from restaurant. Watching the sun set from the roof bar - priceless. Bar tender, really chatty and helpful. We ate at nearby restaurants in the evenings but they do offer dinner for JD10 If you want to stay in.

Great affordable place with simple but clean rooms. Toilets were so small and barely worked. Parking is limited. Rooftop lounge is worth the best

Nice modern room, fun place with a rooftop bar and good dinner buffet available. Breakfast was also included which was delicious. The property is about 15 min walk from Tourism St where a few restaurants and Petra entrance are, but it is up a hill! 3 min drive otherwise. Street parking available

Well located, basic but connvenient, the bathroom condition was below expectarions.

Really friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Breakfast was ok and the view from the rooftop was great. Room was simple but clean and nicely set up. Bed was on the hard side, which I don’t mind, but my partner found too much. The hill down to the visitor centre and the tourist street with restaurants is very steep and part of it is unlit. We felt safe walking it, but the evening after having walked around Petra, we opted for driving down to get dinner. The hotel breakfast is decent, plenty of options and most of it really good. No fresh bread when we were there though. It’s a shame the hotel does not offer a simple dinner after having walked all day in Petra, or a cafe on the rooftop to offer a snack and a drink. Overall, simple but great with super friendly staff!

I really enjoyed staying here. The dorm beds were comfortable and had cloth privacy screens. The attached bathroom was a good size and was clean. The room itself was large with plenty of space for luggage and people. The kitchen was large and had plenty of room as well. The lobby was comfortable with water and power outlets. They offered free luggage storage. The location is good, but it is up a steep hill. Easy to get down to Petra, harder to get back up. A taxi will be between 3-5JOD.

The common area in the hotel is stylish and comfortable. The staff are friendly and nice, they even prepare lunch box for us in the morning so we can bring them to wadi rum or Petra, this is kind and considerate. However, the cleanliness of the room we stayed was very terrible. We found some stains and body hairs on the bedsheet and the quilt cover. when we uncovered the quilt to check it, you won’t believe what we found , we found an opened condom package on the bed ! ! ! They didn’t change the bedding. This is totally unacceptable!! We told the receptionist and they came and change a new set for us.

Great value for the area. Simple, but had everything we needed. Water coolers in the main rooms, and kettle in the room. Free parking. There isn't much comparable to this so it was a no brainer to book. For the time of year we went it was cold, and it was a little drafty. I imagine a lot of places will be like this. I would stay here again.

We had the most amazing time at Nomads hotel! It was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the WIFI worked pretty well. The location is great only a ten minute walk to Petra but it is up a hill so keep that in mind. Last but not least the staff was amazing, we got to know many of the staff and talk with them and become friends with many of them! Ella was one staff member in particular that helped us a lot and was so so nice! This place is a great value for money!

Stunning view from the terrace. Receptionist super nice. Good breakfast, comfy bed and good location. I definitely recommend it!

Hey Expedia! I already submitted a review for this property, as I stayed there on two separate bookings. However, my previous review of the Clean & Cozy Rooms in Wada Musa, Jordan is incorrect. The single review posted on your site is not the one I submitted. It lacks my comments, shows a different score than mine, and doesn't include my name. What's worse is that your confirmation to me says that it "looks great". But maybe your quality control is a robot. If you want me to continue reviewing hotels, you'll have to fix this first. The property no longer exists, according to the owner or manager, who cancelled my reservation on short notice and told me it no longer exists. No refund yet. This property shouldn't be listed on your site if it's not operating. Get back to me when you've figured this out. Till then, no more reviews from me.

Great front desk staff!! Friendly and very helpful. Mustafa helped me deal with a couple of bureaucratic headaches, and was generally available to everyone with a question or issue. Convenient location near the Visitors Centre. The view toward Petra, especially from the roof top terrace, was awesome. The dorms were quiet and clean, as was the shared bathroom. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to keep the shared kitchen in better condition throughout the day.

Great dinner and breakfast at a reasonable price. Helpful and friendly staff.. would stay again.

Hospitality, top of the rule, I stayed for only one night and the staff was very helpful and made suggestions to meet my needs. The cleanliness of the hostel was also very nice! And the lunch boxes they gave me were very helpful. I will be back again.
