City Center Hotel

Well located, friendly staff. No gym

Extremely helpful staff and very friendly

Very happy with the location. So much close by. Happened to be a sunny day during FIFA so very lively and fun everywhere. The reception/host provided excellent recommendations which we followed. For what we paid great value. Shared the premium twin with my 21 year old daughter and it worked well for us. Beds soft and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone.

The hotel itself was fine. Nothing fancy, but fine. It had the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel, had to step into the shower to open and close the door. Shower itself was great though. There was a mix up in the reservation and we ended up with two twin beds which was not ideal for the last night of the first kid-free trip me and my husband have had in 8 years! We tried to push them together but one was considerably higher and they moved too easily. But the biggest issue is location. It’s great in some aspects - on a pedestrian street super close to everything. However this also means that parking is a nightmare and that it’s really loud. Our room faced the Irish pub that had loud live music until 100 and then loud drunk people on the street until about 230. This was a Wednesday night, so probably worse on the weekend. So keep that in mind if you are considering this hotel. The room darkening curtain also wasn’t great, no blind just a curtain. Overall it was fine for one night but I def would not stay there again.

I stayed for two nights at this hotel, they held onto my luggage when I left for a few days in between nights which was really helpful. The rooms are clean, and have comfortable beds. On the second night, they upgraded my room which was really nice of them to do. I’d recommend this hotel as it is really convenient, especially for catching the bus to Keflavík.

Noise !! This is in loud area and could here blasting music until 3.30 am !!! Also no drop off parking . So along walk in the rain !! Shame as nice boutique hotel

Very nice small property. Had a lovely 5th floor balcony room with a view. Very clean and centrally located. Staff was friendly too.

I loved the Hotel, totally recommend it. Only issue was the lowness of the lighting. Location in town couldn’t have been better.

Great hotel. Very modern and nicely renovated. Right in the center of town so walkable to every attraction. I am a solo traveler and the room was small but well designed. A lot of natural light and everything I needed. Stops 1 and 2 are the closest to the hotel (about 4 minutes walk). All tour buses pick up at stop #1, in front of city hall. So, it is very convenient. I plan to go back to Iceland and will stay at this hotel again.

There were still urine stains in my toilet and somehow tiny bird feathers in my bed

The hotel is indeed in the city centre with lots of restaurants and shops all within walking distance from the hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and the elevator was particularly quaint and interesting. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The area was as advertised. There are 2 bakeries nearby that produce absolutely scrumptious pastry (but hurry, they sell out fast). We did not need parking. A point to note: taxis and tour buses do not (are not allowed) to drive up to the hotel so be prepared to manage your luggage over the short walk to the hotel.

I booked this hotel due to the pictures in line of the walk in showers. There wasn’t one in our room. We had a deep tub that was hard for me to get in/out of as I have bad knees. We requested two beds, but there were none available when we checked in. There were no Kleenex in the room. The location was excellent near shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful.

The hotel is in a great location, parking is on the street a few blocks away, the staff was great.
