The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice. The common kitchen area was very nice. The view was phenomenal and we were able to see the baby sheep in the sheep barn!

The apartment was perfect for our group of five. It was situated in a great place for visiting the glacier lagoons, Hofn, and Skaftafell National Park. The living area was comfortable for our group. Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Hali Country Hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious homemade breads and freshly prepared lamb, with a wide variety of fresh and abundant options each day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we especially appreciated the all-day coffee and tea station available in our building. Dinner (at an additional cost) was also excellent, with the lamb chops being a standout. In the evenings, the views around the hotel were simply breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we absolutely loved it!

Basic, clean hotel with decent beds and surrounded by pretty countryside. Associated hotel, while pricey, serves lamb raised locally, which was very good. Breakfast was strictly continental, with a traditional European range of options. You go to the restaurant to check-in, which was a little confusing. The building with the red roof that shows in some of the pictures is a guest house not associated with the hotel
