Hotel Leifur Eiriksson

Small room but cozy with good blackout curtains. The bathroom was small with minimal ventilation which would not have been a problem if not for the sulfur smelling shower water :/ That smell lingered for quite a while. Older building with no elevators so did have to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. Great central location though for the price.

Amazing location for exploring Reykjavik. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room space was small but well appointed and comfortable.

Great location. Right across the street from Hallgrimskirkja and next door to ROK where I been several times during my visits to Reykjavik. Nice clean rooms. I like the bar area as well as my view of Hallgrimskirkja from my room.

Great location for everything and if you are taking Get Your Guide tours the pick up is just across the street. The bed was super comfortable after a long day touring. I would stay there again!

Excellent location for walking to downtown Reykjavik, BSI bus station and local buses. Small room but just for 1 person it was fine. Clean and fresh smell. Very friendly staff, spoke good English and knowledgeable about the city and country. Breakfast consistent with 3 star rating, a few local products available with milk tasting excellent.

The room was small, but comfortable. It could use a little soundproofing as we heard people in the landing talking on the phone late at night. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues as there is no elevator. It had an amazing view of the cathedral, easy to walk around town from this location, and the breakfast was great. We would stay again.

Very disappointed! I had a lower ground floor, basically a basement room. Breakfast very basic and quality very low.

This hotel is in the perfect location to be able to walk everywhere. There is free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate all day. The staff are very kind and offered to upgrade my room without me asking. My room has a beautiful view of the church. Breakfast was filling with fresh fruit, Skyr, pastries and bread.

The location is perfect for exploring Reykjavik! It's directly across from the iconic church and a very short walking distance to the center of shopping and Rainbow street. I stayed in a single room for a solo traveler and it had everything needed without feeling cramped and was a quiet room. There's a lovely (pay for drinks) bar in the lobby for evenings. The tea and coffee and wifi were free so a lovely place to wind down for the night. Includes a breakfast with stay which is hard to find and it had plenty of options for a variety of dietary needs. Staff was very courteous and kind. Lastly, if renting a car, parking across the street is very inexpensive for the day and free on weekends and holidays.

Everything was amazing, will definitely be back!

The rooms are compact but very clean and adequate. Great to be able the get hots drinks 24/7. The staff are exceptional, helpful and vry friendly. The position of the hotel is very convenient. Would definitely stay again. We had a great time

Clean room, lovely staff and a great city centre spot with perfect views of the church. Room was a little on the small side but we were only there one night so it did the job
