Asked additional 80.000 IDR for newer room. The Hotel is big, great for family that love nature, many activities for the kids to explore. Food is acceptable, very clean & friendly staff

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Plataran Borobudur. 1st time staying here and we got upgraded. The room is spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids and also clean. We can feel fresh air and beautiful view from the balcony. We have great dinner at stupa restaurant, sei sapi plataran and bebek goreng brintik very delicious. Thanks to all staffs, very friendly and warm to all of guests. Special thanks to Ms. Tiana in front office. Thank you.

This hotel was really awesome. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. The staffs were really nice and helpful. I really appreciate because they really help me to provide the room when I request for early check in. The location was in the main access of magelang road. There is a mall right next to this hotel. I recommend this hotel if you want to staycation in magelang.

Its a go to place if you had staycation in your mind, scenery was great event the weather wasn't at its best, ambience really brought me to place of serenity that I could imagine, food was good and staff are friendly. Best bang for your bucks

perfect oldies hotel, which is you can choose classic room & modern room. I suggest modern room one, except maybe for foreigner. got queen double bed room perfect for family need. and the mountain view from balcony (i forgot to tell that the room have balcony) make it perfect.

Great location near Pecinan, and you can get to alun2x within 10-15 minute by walking, easy to get food(culinary)..

We had a pleasant and enjoyable 2 nights' stay, bedding comfortable, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Breakfast were delivered to our hotel room, and on both occasions, the fried rice and chicken rice served were good. Location is good too, warungs and cafes are available within walking distance. The staff had been helpful, courteous and cheerful. It was, overall, a satisfying experience. Highly recommended to those visiting Muntilan.

During this pandemic, shankara is the best choice. It offers villa-type rooms so we can keep distance from other guests and also maintain our privacy. We enjoyed its swimming pool so much. The breakfast was also good. Within walking distance, there is bicycles rental station. We rented bicycles and hired a guide to enjoy beautiful village scenery, experienced pottery-making, and visited coconut brown sugar home-industry. So happy to meet nice people in the village. We really enjoyed our holiday in magelang at the fullest despite of the closure of Borobudur.
