I was very happy, the price offered was very affordable, I had a comfortable experience. The atmosphere in this hotel brings nostalgia to my childhood, often seeing this hotel model on TV in the 90s, the room design and furniture are still vintage but balanced with modern electronics such as new AC, new refrigerator and new TV. The staff is friendly and responsive, I haven't tried the swimming pool because I only stayed 2 nights and I had a lot of activities. Maybe another time.

According to the information, this hotel is an ex-Ibis group hotel. The facilities are old, and the maintenance seems to be lacking. There are many broken and cracked tiles and walls, but they haven't been repaired yet. There is a variety of food, but it's quite good.

This hotel is located very close to Pekanbaru's largest malls, SKA and LW. It's strategically located on a main road. It's clean, the AC is just the right amount of cold, the water heater is perfect for a shower, not too hot, and the breakfast has plenty of options. However, the experience is just so-so. What I really like is the spacious and free parking. There's no hassle of having to register. However, yesterday on the second day, I smelled a carrion odor from above. It's possible there was a dead rat, as there was a loud scratching sound on the ceiling that night. But on the first day, I didn't smell it. Hopefully, management will take note so future guests won't complain. Check-in and check-out were also fast, and the short-haired lady in the restaurant area was very friendly, but I forgot her name. Thank you for the Companion Hotel Grand Suka Pekanbaru. I will come back again soon.

The hotel looks outdated from the outside but the inside is very clean. I only booked one night but because I felt at home, I booked another night. There is a TV with a wide selection of channels even though it is not a smart TV, there is also a mini fridge, a complete telephone, there is a pool even though I haven't tried it. Basically, it is suitable for a staycation with a fairly affordable price. Thank you Grand Suka

Comfortable, perfect for families. I'd stay here again if I go to Pekanbaru. The room is spacious, clean, the Wi-Fi is good, and the shower is great. The room specifications stated a refrigerator, but in reality, there wasn't one. However, that didn't detract from the comfort of my stay.
