This was my first time staying at the Hotel Louise Kienne. It's very comfortable, artistic, clean, and has friendly staff. It's also very reasonably priced. The location is strategic, close to culinary spots and souvenir shops. God willing, I'll stay at this hotel next time I visit Semarang. Recommended👍

Twin bed size is large, not single. Firm, with thick and soft plush.
Japanese nuance room decoration, pastel colors.
Bright but shady lighting because there is no direct light, comfortable on the eyes.
Super clean, well maintained, everything works well. Hot shower is always ready.

Stay overnight to rest in the middle of a long journey. Japanese-style room decoration, minimalist, pastel colors.
There is no direct light from the lamp. Shady, bright but not dazzling, comfortable on the eyes.
Firm bed, with soft plush, makes for a good night's sleep. Two pillow choices, soft for sleeping and thick hard for leaning on while watching TV or reading. both are large sizes typical of star hotels.
Breakfast on the 5th floor has many separate areas so it is more private. I like the Chinese food menu the most, besides western and local Nusantara.
Infinity pool, spacious. Currently renovating the dining area next to it.
Children's playground in the open air but protected from sunlight because it is flanked by tall buildings on 3 sides.
Well-maintained facilities, super clean 👍👍👍
Staff service is very friendly, efficient, informative, making it easy for guests to enjoy the existing facilities.

Got the corner room, the room was not very clean. I don't know why I got a room that didn't feel like a hotel, but like a boarding house. The TV was old, and broken because when I turned it on, all the shows were purple. Please replace the TV, it's hotel-grade and quite expensive, check if it still works properly. In the morning, the TV suddenly turned off by itself and wouldn't turn back on, luckily I was about to check out. The room lock was difficult to open, I had to call the receptionist because I couldn't get out of the room, it happened twice that I couldn't open the lock. The door also seemed to need maintenance. This hotel was good in its time, maybe, but now it needs a lot of repairs. It's a shame that many hotels at that price have good room facilities.

Staying here for 5 nights was pretty worth it in my opinion, but the restaurant's atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the food was very tasty, the room was also clean, but sometimes the bathroom was a bit smelly, sometimes not. The bed was also quite spacious.

I requested on Traveloka for: nice view, clean and quite room, but when I entered the carpet and bedcover there were dark brown spill stains, and the room's position near the elevator was quite noisy. The front view of the window was directly the window of another room in the next building. The food menu was lacking, I could only eat soto and chicken porridge. The fruit was only melon and watermelon (not worthy for 4 stars), eggs could not be requested, only ready-made omelets were available. Pao and hard bread, limited drinks. Friendly staff, good attitude.

Got the corner room, the room was not very clean. I don't know why I got a room that didn't feel like a hotel, but like a boarding house. The TV was old, and broken because when I turned it on, all the shows were purple. Please replace the TV, it's hotel-grade and quite expensive, check if it still works properly. In the morning, the TV suddenly turned off by itself and wouldn't turn back on, luckily I was about to check out. The room lock was difficult to open, I had to call the receptionist because I couldn't get out of the room, it happened twice that I couldn't open the lock. The door also seemed to need maintenance. This hotel was good in its time, maybe, but now it needs a lot of repairs. It's a shame that many hotels at that price have good room facilities.

Staying here for 5 nights was pretty worth it in my opinion, but the restaurant's atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the food was very tasty, the room was also clean, but sometimes the bathroom was a bit smelly, sometimes not. The bed was also quite spacious.

I requested on Traveloka for: nice view, clean and quite room, but when I entered the carpet and bedcover there were dark brown spill stains, and the room's position near the elevator was quite noisy. The front view of the window was directly the window of another room in the next building. The food menu was lacking, I could only eat soto and chicken porridge. The fruit was only melon and watermelon (not worthy for 4 stars), eggs could not be requested, only ready-made omelets were available. Pao and hard bread, limited drinks.
