Very impressed with this hotel, not a new hotel but the cleanliness is maintained, the check in process was very fast even though it was Christmas and New Year holidays. The breakfast menu is extensive, beyond my expectations, there is even ice cream, the kids are happy, and what is very thumbs up, the staff at the restaurant are very responsive in refilling food (all the food that looks like it is about to run out) even though breakfast time is only 1 hour away.. Amazing, the restaurant is not stingy.. and the restaurant staff are very quick to clean the table, so the restaurant is clean again. It is very pleasant to stay here 👍🏻

The hotel staff was very friendly, and it was close to Simpanglima and Lawangsewu. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was cool. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Pandanaran Hotel, Simpang Lima, Semarang. When I was planning a trip to Semarang and a one-night stay on May 30, 2026, I happened to be with my brother. I chose the Pandanaran Hotel because it was familiar because I had often stayed and held office events/meetings there about 15 years ago. I was very familiar with it, the location was strategic, I wanted to go to the hotel, look for souvenirs, and so on. I booked a room through Traveloka in early May 2026. Arriving at the hotel, checking in and entering the room felt like 15 years ago, from the lobby, through the elevator, and then to the room. And it was still well-maintained with quite good facilities. Early in the morning after breakfast, I joined Olga at Simpang Lima and continued walking to the Lawang Sewu tourist attraction. As it approached 12 noon, the receptionist only asked if we wanted to extend our stay, and we said no. Another time, we just waited to be able to pray Dhuhur in our room. After praying, we prepared to check out. The check-out process went smoothly, then we waited for the GoCar. I met up with my senior (a retired minister from a ministry in Jakarta whom I hadn't seen in a long time) and his family. It turned out we both had a nostalgic experience choosing Hotel Pandanaran Simpang Lima Semarang. Thank you for the excellent service, just like 15 years ago. Hopefully, we can visit again sometime soon.

Overall, it was very good. Security helped organize parking. Check-in was fast. The breakfast menu was varied. The only thing worth noting is that we were in connecting rooms 803 and 805. The bathroom was very slippery. It could be dangerous for small children and the elderly, and management might consider this.

I checked in at 7 p.m. The receptionist was very friendly and provided excellent information. Check-in was quick, and my booking request was fulfilled. Thank you, Daniel (if I'm not mistaken), the female receptionist who came in at 7 p.m., hehe. There were no issues with the room or anything else; everything was fine. My kids were happy.

The location is strategic, close to the Bandeng Juwana Elrina restaurant, DIY, Indomaret, and culinary and souvenir shops in Pandanaran. Parking is ample, and the staff are very helpful with directions. There's a refreshing welcome drink, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is quite good, but needs to be expanded soon due to the constant influx of guests and the food running low. The donuts and ice cream are delicious, and my kids love them.
