Hotel Valentino Palace

We were greeted with excellent location ideas and a clean room and access information. The hotel was a block away from the train station and within walking distance for all our Rome activities.

Yes but scetchy area bums and dirty

Room is a bit small but very clean.

The AC did not work well (room 305) and had to ask for toilet paper.

Room was very clean, and very basic as a place to sleep after lots of sightseeing. One staff member was extremely friendly and helpful, and one was so aloof, I need to find a another word. Very close to Termini station, which was convenient, and 15-20 minute walk to many sights. Both nights were a bit noisy in the corridor, which woke both me and my children. So very basic, but clean, if you’re on a budget.

The highlight of this property is its location.3-4 minutes to/from Termini station is the part. There is a small elevator makes moving luggage up and down a lot easier. The 24 hour front desk was also a plus. The only downside is the room suite door keeps hitting the floor making loud sound.

Very friendly staff. Small room which was fine with us. So close to the train station. We would stay there again.

Property was close to the train station and was close to all the major sites. The staff was very friendly.

For us, the location was perfect as right next to the station. However did feel a little dodgy late at night so be aware. Hotel staff weren’t the friendliest or most helpful. Room was excellent

We stayed 2 nights. It’s convenience, safe and clean. Tons of restaurant options around. Hotel entrance with secured gate and expect monitoring 24 hours base.

Our room seemed clean at first, but upon closer inspection we found some very unsanitary stains. As well, the front desk staff seemed helpful at first- until you asked a simple question. Two were quite abrupt and rude- with one raising his voice and becoming hostile. Not recommended.

Horrible hotel. The only plus is that Roma Termini is nearby. I complained multiple times about an “emergency” light in the hallway in my room that is on 24/7 it is a bright LED light that illuminates the whole room. I called and complained to reception. They came up the first night and were able to turn off the breaker leading to that light. The second night it came back on and stayed on the entire night. I called again, and the guy told me he was going to come. He said he already showed how to turn the breaker off I told him I tried that and it’s not working. Finally came up and realized that and it was not working. He told me there was nothing that he could do about it. There was no other vacant rooms that he could switch me too. He said he had to deal with it we were unable to sleep for the six nights, so we stay in the hotel due to this bright light sea images to see that illuminate the whole room and points directly at the bed. The bed is super uncomfortable for like a hard cardboard material. The only thing I can say is good iss that the housekeeper is very sweet and thorough and cleaning the rooms. They’re very clean. Never recommending this Hotel.

That was a little noisy

Only a half-block walk from the train station. Many Rome attractions are within a 20 minute walking distance. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. The elevator is tiny but adequate.
