The hotel was in a good area next to 24hour 7eleven and beside main Kyoto station, you can reach where ever you want from here. The hotel was great, clean and nice ambience. Easy check in and check out with a nice staff&cleaning service. They keep our luggage before check in&after check out for free. Cause in japan, major hotel strictly did not let the guest to early check in or late check out. Our room was double bed, comfy enouh for asian that standard height, extra pillow for me. The room was nice&cozy, only no view at all from window. Bath room was so clean&they provide everything, even nice big bottle of shampoo, treatment&body soap, amenties, etc and replace it everyday. Just bring your body&clothes :) Bath tub a bit tight but is ok for us. Tv was extremely big & high tec (only standard channel, you have to pay if you want open all channel). On high floor you’ve got Nice Free onsen spa, ice cube machine, microwave & paid laundry. After all, great hotel. Will back again if stay in kyoto. Thank you APA!

This hotel is very well located nearby Kyoto station and bus terminal. This lets you move around easily. The room is comfortable and clean but tiny and expensive as expected for a city hotel. Staff is welcoming and speaks correct English.

The location is good as it's a short walk from Kyoto station. But the bathroom smelled of drainage and it wasn't very nice.. Also, my room was at the corner and I couldn't sleep well because of the noise from outside (even the noise of winds!) and room next to mine. I could hear person moving in the room next to me. They weren't shouting or anything but I could still hear them doing something almost like the room was connected :(

This hotel is such great value for your money. I've also stayed in this chain hotel in Tokyo. It is very clean with comfortable beds and good wifi connection. They provide more amenities they similar American chain hotels. They are also located in popular tourist areas and close to public transportation. The double rooms are very compact. As a solo traveler I have found them to be comfortable.

Stay was amazing, high quality for good price. Location was 7-10 mins walk from Kyoto Station and bus station (amazing). When booking at APA make sure you know the exact address where to go for check-in as APA is a chain of hotels and find the right one can be tricky. You can leave your luggage with them after check-out with no extra charge. Overall stay at this hotel was exceptional in all means. The hotel has Money Exchange booth.

Close to Kyoto station. 7 eleven right next door. The rooms are not really soundproof, I could hear my neighbours laugh and cough, but at night was really quiet. Rooms are really small (it was not an issue for me) but the bed is super comfortable.

I have stayed in a few of these APA hotels, I feel for the money compared to sone other hotel brands i have stayed with these. The APA brand is started to fall behind. This hotel inparticular felt dated. The rooms have 0 noise cancellation. You can hear the TV from the nextdoor room. Any noise made in the hallway you can hear. The room itself could do woth a deep clean.

I feel the mattresses need to be rotated as the mattress was on an angle and I felt I was rolling out of it all night. I’m guessing as it was a single room with the mattress up against the wall that the one side is sat on and slept on causing this uneven wear. I always have problems with Takyubin at this hotel too. It’s time consuming and staff never seem sure of what they’re doing. In addition to this my work sent a letter to the hotel prior to my check in. The hotel rang my work telling them I had no booking which caused confusion and stress. After I provided the booking number they located the booking but involving my work caused some embarrassment for me.

We had a nice stay. But the room is too small for two people. We have to open our suitcases on bed. It might be ok if you just bring begs or small luggage with you. The bath room has tight space. We, with middle size, felt hard to use the toilet and turn around in bathroom.

Overall, thr hotel was good but it was extremely humid inside our room so much so that our blankets and clothes eere damped every day. This situation made for a very uncomfortable stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioner did not help with this matter.

Great location within reasonable walking distance of Kyoto station! Definitely showing its age though - AC was broken (flap would stay closed unless forced open manually)

Nice location since it was right next to a seven eleven and walking distance from the kyoto station. It’s also right near a bus stop and nice food places nearby.

It’s very convenient that is next to Tokyo Station, makes it easy to get around. I did not used the Onsen, so paid for something I did not used. Clean, some of the staff is very friendly while others just ok. Didn’t do the breakfast or dinner. Many places outside to select it. They ah e bending machines there n the 7/11 is next door.

We, with middle size, felt hard to use the toilet and turn around in bathroom.

excellent staff service in a central location. Great options at breakfast. Toilet was unusually stinky at times but not a major problem. some sheets had minor stains from prior use.
