What Guests Say About Their Stay

Victoria

This was our favourite hotel of our trip. The outside is fairly grand, although it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There is a couple of convenience stores within a ten-minute walk, but not really any restaurants we could see. There are other grand hotels in the vicinity. The reception was equipped with some comfortable seats and booths, as well as the “menu” of rooms, where you see photos and categories of the rooms available. Outside the door, was a large parking structure. The receptionist, while not unfriendly, was visibly frustrated having to deal with English guests and was rather snappy at first. The Room was huge. The bathroom was large and comfortable, with a huge array of products and hair/grooming tools available to use. Hair dryer, curler, straightener, you name it. We tried the jet bubble bath and it was pretty relaxing and nice. Plus, the bath is large enough for two humans to relax together. In the centre of the room, a fabulous massage chair was free to use and I enjoyed. All in all, I would not say the food was that great. It was a pity. A furthermore, it wasn’t as advertised. For the price, I’d say it was okay and certainly for the convenience. The facilities and the furnishings of the room, the size of the guest space and the food brought to you, when compared against other non-love hotels, come out absolutely on top. Love hotels are the way to go.

We spent two nights here while visiting Kyoto. We knew what a love hotel was, so were not put off of the "adult amenities" in the room. The room was spotless, large, and a wonderful place to stay while exploring the region. a bit of a walk from the subway station, but it was an easy walk through primarily residential neighborhoods. We had dinner at restaurants around the area, and had wonderful food, for very good prices - not the high end Kyoto prices that we had heard about. A wonderful retreat!

This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!

The best hotel we had in Japan!!!! The rooms are huge, bathroom has a jacuzzi and we have breakfast delivered in the room! It's clean and the service is good: even though they don't have a great command of English, they make a lot of efforts. Granted, it is a bit far from the city centre but it's a 15-mn walk from the metro station and there are a lot of bus stops around. I would totally recommend it and book it again!!

Be ready to walk as the hotel is a 15min walk from the subway. The hotel is located in a ruralist area but the room itself makes up for it. The room is massive and it includes every amedities you can think of including some pleasurable treats. Breakfast and room service are delicious. The staff are very friendly.

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel out of relative desperation as our other accommodations fell through while we were in Kyoto. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t exactly specify that ALL rooms allow smoking. While booking, it indicated that the hotel had smoking/non-smoking rooms. The staff also did not speak English and so I had to play telephone, quite literally, with another English speaking staff member on the phone for about 45 minutes asking if they had non-smoking rooms. After declining their offer to just use a scented spray bottle to alleviate the smoking scent, they offered to cancel our reservation for us. Also, the hotel located very far from the subway (10-15 min walk with luggage).

This hotel caters only to adults and it seems most patrons dont stay overnight. However, it was very clean, the room was huge, and their food was alright. There is no restaurant, so all food ordered is brought up and passed through a small door in the entrance to the room. This hotel is pretty far from the parts of Kyoto we wanted to see and a hike from the nearest train station. But the staff was friendly, the tub and in room massage chair were awesome, and we found coin laundry and a 7-11 a quick walk away!

The hotel was clean, and well kept, with lovely staff who spoke a little English and were willing to help even if there were a few stumbling conversations. IT IS A LOVE HOTEL! Just keep this in mind, it is a well known chain of hotels that you can utilise as pleased, with toys and a few extras in the "minibar". However our 3 night stay was wonderful. The room was cleaned everyday, with toiletries restocked, and a wonderful selection of hair dryer, straightner, and curler for the ladies to use. The room service was good, if a little difficult to convey due to the language barrier, but still easily solved.

Needed to exchange some inappropriate words to get this review trough: Expensive room. Far out. The staff wasn't able to manage breakfast in time. Room included a slot machine and some sexy underwear mini-store. And also, it was equipped with a machine for exchanging bills to coins, if you spend it all in the room. Oh yeah, it's not really "no smoking" room. It's just filled with smelly scents to conceal former smokers. I woke up with my asthma problem. Thanks for the stay. Someday I'll be laughing about this. Maybe in 20 years.

Disappointing , because of the distance, because transport , such a train , was 15 min walk and taxi only could " help" you . I booked this hotel just 1 day before the trip to kyoto because no other hotels available with a reasonable price. At first I worried to stay in a love hotel with kid, but it was a great experience eventually. The room is very spacious with 2 big screen LCD, a projector, 2 sofas, a massage chair, jacuzzi, etc. It was very comfortable to stay after full day of sightseeing. Tough the location is not in one of famous areas in Kyoto, but the nearest subway station or bus stop (Takeda) can be reached by taxi within a few minutes.

We had dinner at restaurants around the area, and had wonderful food, for very good prices - not the high end Kyoto prices that we had heard about. A wonderful retreat!

Entrance to the hotel is about 18 square meters , smell of candelas with aroma ( which I could not stand ). " panicking " staff, because they could not communicate with us in English .
