How to go to Hotel Gracery Shinjuku from Airport

Getting from the airport to Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is a breeze, with several convenient hotel transfer options available. Whether you're looking for the fastest route or the most budget-friendly one, here's a breakdown of your choices for transfer from airport to hotel:

  • Taxi (most direct):

A taxi is the most straightforward way to get to the hotel. You can find taxi stands outside the arrival halls of both Narita (NRT) and Haneda (HND) airports. The journey from Narita can take around 90-120 minutes, while from Haneda, it's about 30-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Be prepared for a higher fare, especially with tolls and potential surcharges.
  • Airport Limousine Bus (comfortable and convenient):

The Airport Limousine Bus offers a comfortable and direct transfer to the Shinjuku area, with a stop conveniently located near Hotel Gracery Shinjuku. Buses depart regularly from both Narita and Haneda. The journey from Narita takes approximately 2-3 hours, and from Haneda, it's about 40-75 minutes.
  • Narita Express (N'EX) or Limited Express Train (fast and scenic):

From Narita Airport, the Narita Express (N'EX) train is a fast and efficient option. It takes you directly to Shinjuku Station in about 90 minutes. From there, it's a short taxi or walk to the hotel.
  • Train (most affordable):

For a budget-friendly option, take a combination of trains. From Narita, you can take the Keisei Skyliner to Nippori Station, then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Shinjuku Station. From Haneda, take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station, then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Shinjuku Station. This option requires navigating train transfers but is significantly cheaper.
  • Ride Hailing (door-to-door):

Ride Hailing services are available in Tokyo, offering a convenient door-to-door transfer. However, be aware that surge pricing can significantly increase the fare during peak hours.

Tips:

For the most convenient route, consider the Airport Limousine Bus, which drops you off near the hotel and saves you the hassle of navigating train stations with luggage. If you're on a budget, the train is a good option, but be prepared for transfers. For speed and directness, a taxi is your best bet, but it will be the most expensive.

Hotels.com verified review

This was my second stay at Hotel Gracery. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet. The room was standard size for Tokyo in my opinion and very clean overall. The bed and pillows were a bit too firm for my personal taste. The hotel is within very short walking distance from Shinjuku station which makes it super easy to travel anywhere in Tokyo. There is also a 7-eleven at the directly below the hotel, which is very convenient. My reason for the 4-star rating has to do with the area around the hotel. It has gotten very dirty and sketchy, and did not feel as safe as I remember from my previous trip. I was even approached by some questionable characters walking out one morning and I truly felt like I was going to get mugged. Of course, the hotel cannot control this but it is part of the overall experience of staying at the property in this area of Shinkuku. Personally, I will look at staying in Shibuya for my next trip to Tokyo.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Shinjuku. Close to Shinjuku station and plenty of dining and action right outside the door. Rooms are a bit small and dated but we didn't think it was much of an issue. The hotel itself is very cool and you really cannot beat the location if you want a lively experience in Tokyo.

Great location if you like the Shinjuku area. For a first timer in Japan I didn’t realize how small the beds are in Japan. What hotels refer to as a double bed really can’t fit 2 average size adults. Luckily a room with 2 beds was available and we were moved. We were very comfortable in the room with 2 beds.

Great location in the middle of the action of Shinjuku. Price was competitive. Would definitely stay again, but would try and get a higher floor as it's noisy on the street.

This place is great for the location but rooms are a bit dated and if you are up early it is really dirty, which shocked us since the rest of Japan is very clean however this is a more party area so more garbage and people expected. It was perfect for 2 nights, close to the train station and all the action of Shinjuku but would not stay here for a week it is too grubby in this area at night and early morning

Dont waste your money. Plenty of other hotels in area. If you wanna see godzilla just go the lobby there they didnt stop random people from coming in. Only reason i booked was for outside area with godzilla and it was closed whole time.in terms of service in Osaka the guy did everything helping me ship luggage. Here it was a qr code process and very time consuming. Nice lobby for drinks before heading out. Ammenities were basic also for as much as you pay. Room small even for Japan at the price paid. Save your money. In regards to area tons to do around.
