We enjoyed 4 days in Kyoto at this amazing hotel located at Kyoto Station. This is a seriously impressive facility with several dining and shopping options within the hotel itself. As it is connected to the main Kyoto Station there are countless additional food and shopping options, as well as the convenience of being at the main station for the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was continuously restocked with water, coffee, tea, and touletry supplies if needed. The room was fabulous and, as expected, spotlessly clean. You cannot go wrong here if you are looking to stay in central Kyoto and want easy access to just about any shopping or dining experience.

Chose this hotel based on travel guide recommendation--overall a good hotel, but it's showing its age/wear. I stayed in a 2-"twin-bed" room, non-smoking. The pictures on Hotels.com were fairly clear that the bathroom was a little more dated than the king-bed rooms, and they were accurate. However, I wasn't prepared for how dingy the carpet was nor the walls which were in need of some paint touch-ups. The bed was firm enough and the linen was fine, but I would not consider them four-star quality. That said, the service was amazing--especially the concierge, who was so knowledgeable and seemed to have a map to direct me to every area I could imagine. I was a little concerned about being right in the train station, but barely heard any noise from the tracks and that tapered off during the night. Being close to the JR, subway, and Shinkasen were all huge pluses. Ate dinner one night in the Cafe because it was easy to do the night I had a business conference call. Didn't try the buffet, which looked quite extensive, but the a la carte beef curry I ordered was mediocre (especially for the price). The pool/jacuzzi at the hotel were great (though required an additional charge--why wasn't it included) and the rest of the gym was quite small/inadequate given they were asking a fee. Since I was traveling alone, it met my needs but don't think I'd stay there again. Th

Th

Beautiful hotel, lovely amenities, and the *best pillows. We had an incredible view of the city and train station, including the Shinkansen, which was an unexpected bonus. Location was fabulous for getting around on the trains. Really made our trip to Kyoto!

This is not only one of the best hotels in Kyoto; but in Japan. FANTASTIC location, nice, high end. And big, comfortable rooms. Super great!

The staff gave us assigned us smoking rooms even though they knew very well we demanded for non smoking rooms and we had kids. We stayed out all night to avoid sleeping in the rooms. The staff changed the rooms the next day.

Spacious compared to other hotels in the Kyoto station area. Very quiet inside, despite being built within the station. Little kids will enjoy watching the Shinkansen run on the track from the rooms!

Love this hotel! Second time i stayed at this hotel and had good service. This time was a bit different. They could not find my reservation for the luggage to be shipped and then when we checked in, they didn’t give us the breakfast tickets which was included when I made the reservation. Otherwise, great hotel and fabulous location

We did not eat at any of the restaurants or use room service. None of the restaurants were even mid-price range. All of them were very high cost.

Amazing location for a few days. Very comfortable and located in the station which has convenience. Shopping around, food everywhere, just very busy when you leave the hotel if you want something different. The hotel however was very nice.
