Great rooms with great air conditioning. Pretty easy to find once you found the east Whitty Mall. Hundreds of food options nearby. I would stay here again.

I find this property very convenient in many ways. Friendly and helpful staff. I liked it so much I rebooked for three days instead of two days originally.

The hotel's location is convenient and well-placed for subway links. The surrounding area has an okay range of entertainment venues and shops. The staff were courteous and helpful and spoke English (I point this out as an English-speaking monoglot!). The room was small but I expected it tovlcbe, but the bed was comfortable enough and the shower was hot and powerful which is sometimes what you need after a long day of trekking around the city. I've stayed in other Ibis hotels in Japan, and in those hotels the room windows could be opened, but rather annoyingly here they cannot, but at least the air conditioning worked well. I didn't eat breakfast here, so can't comment on that, but there is a nice cafe next to the lobby.

Wow, such a great stay! The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a baby bed cot set up in our room (as requested) and it fit like a puzzle near the bathroom - even in the small room. They also loaned us an electrical adapter when we realised ours didn’t fit. The room was clean and the location was excellent. There was a bar fridge so we could put yogurt in it for breakfast for the toddler. The hotel provide filtered water in the foyer. Would be happy to stay at Ibis Osaka Umeda in future.

Good location close to shops, food and the train station

Great Japanese 3 star hotel located within walking distance of metro and airport bus transfers. Made it easy to get around everywhere when we were visiting. Clean and nice breakfast.

This was such a nice place to stay in while we were in Osaka! I liked how convenient the location was, the hotel even had an elevator go directly down to the underground malls/train stations! The hotel was comfortable and the beds and amenities were great!
