What Guests Say About Their Stay

This is a very good.hotel. the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and gave great customer service. The room was clean and the amenities were super good. The hotel gives you bottled water, toothbrush, toothpaste, a comb and a razor with shaving cream. You also have access to face and hand wash, shampoo and conditioner. There is a refrigerator in the room. You have access to a microwave on the 2nd and 4th floors. It's also very quiet throughout the day. The cleaning staff are also super nice, friendly and very keen to detail. There is also a laundry for guests on the third floor. The prices are reasonable. As of thos posting it's 200 yen to wash, 100 yen to dry and 100 yen for detergent. There are plenty of places surrounding the hotel for shopping and eating. One critical point is they do not allow non guest to go beyond the lobby. Also youust leave your room key at the desk whenever you leave the hotel. It can be annoying when you are stepping out for a minutes but it can also be kind of cool reminiscent to the old school hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel for all the qualities it has for any length of stay.

We had a great experience at the hotel. Although we have stayed here many times before, this was the first time that we really needed a bit of extra help. During the trip, my wife injured her knee and the staff helped us order crutches and get them expedited to the hotel. Great service from a thankful client who will continue to use your hotel while visiting the Tokyo and Noda areas.

Great staff. Terrible furnishings. Uncomfortable mattress, dirty stained carpets, uncomfortable damaged furniture in room and lobby. Lobby restaurant is permanently closed and could be easily re-purposed for additional lobby space. This hotel needed a renovation 8 years ago. Decent location but there are better choices nearby.

Everything about the hotel is great except the beds. They are very hard and I feel the springs in them, or whatever is inside. I wake up with back issues. I also bring my own pillow. The location for my needs is perfect, they are very clean, very friendly. No complaints at all except for the bed. Also, the single room is very small, but that is Japanese standard.

There were 5 of us who stayed. We were in Japan for Jujutsu, Ninjutsu and Batto jutsu (samurai sword art). We came to visit and train with the grand masters and tour the Shrines and Temples. We stayed in Nagoya for 5 days then at the Annex. My room I felt was very comfortable and a lot of amenities I didn't expect. I was surprised how very quiet my room was. Loved that it had a bath tub because my body was so tired I decided to soak in it. I loved the beautiful robe. The restaurant had great food and service too. Thank you. If I'm able to come back to Japan I will definitely stay at Hotel Annex again.

Second time I have stayed at the Annex. It is close to the train and bus stations, shopping mall and is surrounded by restaurants. The rooms are expectedly small but well serviced and are cleaned every day without fail. I have gladly recommended the hotel to friends and will no doubt be returning there again myself
